I was in my local gun shop with a friend and they all suggested giving Jason a call, unanimously (3 separate kiosks in the shop with independent dealers, so around 8 people). He has a reputation for only taking cases he can win and not just taking people's money for his time if he can't effect the outcome people are looking for. I called Jason's office and spoke with his staff who were knowledgeable and provided a lot of insight and then he reviewed my case and said he would take me on. This was during the height of Covid and they were still answering their office phones. In my experience, he was completely direct and to the point, which is something I value. He navigated me through the entire process, always answered his email with every annoying question I had, and exceeded my expectations in every way. He definitely has an ego and will often boast and tell you a number of times how selective he is when choosing clients to represent and how others lawyers are afraid to go to trial. When I first walked in there, it reminds me of a chop shop. Please do your own due diligence. Please ask them the following question which is in your right: 1. How many and WHO has left your law firm in the last 5 years? And, you might want to ask why. There are many firms out there. If you decide to go with them. I hope you're lucky but PLEASE for the love of god. Ask for proof that some of your costs will be capped. And, if they say, "There is no way to guarantee that". Then, ask how long does it typically take for XYZ because it is ABSURD what this firm has gotten away with, in my opinion. It may be complicated , but seemed positive . In the last 6 years or so , communication has almost been nonexistent . My wife has mostly recovered except a lingering pain in her foot . Not sure the reviews have been fairly good , but our experience has been terrible .

The "rejection e-mail" had a man's name in it, not my name, so I assumed it was some sort of error. But no, it's just them unable to use e-mail and Calendly correctly, and inability to address customers with their actual names. Just as well, a law firms' ability to use modern technology and professionalism are important to me, so I may not have trusted them to take me on.
