Bright, airy, welcoming spot. Order at counter and then take your seat. Menus are available as you walk in. Got a bistro omelette with fruit. Light and fresh and a great start to my day. Decent amount to food traffic for coffee to go. Also had a few pastries and cookies available.

Under-baked muffin

Usually the food here is fresh and tasty, but today I bought this turkey croissant sandwich which was made with the toughest, oldest, stalest, croissant . The water also tasted like it was drawn from the toilet The muffin tasted raw in the center. After calling to complain, they stated that it was a filling. It didn't taste like a filling, nor did they tell us it was a filled muffin when we bought it.

There are very few choices when it comes to getting an espresso in Ocean Shores and Ocean Beach Roasters has been here through thick and thin (aka the pandemic). The servers have always been wonderful, with a great sense of camaraderie and helpfulness even when it's insanely busy, which it often is (see above). On the one hand, the espressos have been inconsistent over the years which, I believe, is due to turnover in staff. Sometimes I've had my drinks made by a genuine barista type person, and sometimes it's been a high school student whose only knowledge of a macchiato came from drinking one in Starbucks. Which, if you know anything about espresso, is not even a macchiato despite the name. Overall though I do keep coming back. Not only because of convenience but because the food is often really really good and I also love grabbing a table upstairs and sitting for a while with my espresso and my laptop or a book. The balcony gives a great view of the street outside and it's fun to look down on the rest of the restaurant and see what everyone else is eating. Also, when the weather is forgiving, it's great to eat outside.

I haven't visited Ocean Shores in years. I recently came out here with some family from out of town. They've never been to the WA coast so I got to play tour guide. This coffee shop was one of our first stops. I felt bad for the cashier. Her patience was being tested and I could tell by her face. A customer in front of us sounded like it was her first time at a coffee shop. She was asking general questions about coffee and their food. She took so long at the counter that her concerned friend, who was sitting in the dining area, showed up and came to assist her. The cashier had to put us on pause before we could order. I understood the situation. We gave her some grace. After she had to deal with the customer ahead of us she needed to deliver food out to the dining area. I guess they were short staffed since they didn't have a designated runner. I'm sure the people waiting at that table would have given her the 3rd degree if their food was cold. We took our beverages to go. The barista behind the cashier was friendly. Latte art is not standard but if you ask prior to cashing out they'll gladly do it. Coffee was really good.

Classic eggs Benedict

We were so excited to come to get a handmade cappuccino and what looked to be nicely elevated food. The good: The eggs Benedict was good. The bad: The potatoes came from a freezer style bag. And the coffee was not strong or flavorful at all. Very disappointed! When we got there at 9 am when it opens, there was three choices left in the entire pastry display:( I think part of the reason for such the low review was the cost paid for the amount we received. Doing my best to eat healthy, I ordered a side plate of fruit for five dollars. It literally came with five pieces of fruit lol. A non-repeat place for us. Also, when I'm going to eat in instead of taking out... I don't wanna drink coffee out of a paper cup. Especially a cappuccino! I would expect just a nice ceramic mug of sorts.

Shrimp Eggs Benedict

I went here for the first time today. I always suggest getting here early as it gets pretty busy. I ordered a hot white chocolate mocha and it was bland. It did not have much flavor. I got the shrimp eggs Benedict with the potatoes instead of the fruit. I thought the hollandaise sauce was a bit too watery and didn't have that much flavor. However, the eggs were cooked to perfection! The shrimp were absolutely delicious and the food came out quickly. The potatoes were season and cooked very well! I would definitely go back.

Super cute, ADA accessible, good hot coco, very sweet staff. Also chai was delicious (not watery like other places) and vanilla latte was good

We decided to have our breakfast at Ocean Beach Roasters and Bistro as we saw that they were dog friendly. However, due to how windy it was we decided to just dine in without our fur babies as we thought the chairs and tables at the front of the establishment were the only ones they had available. However, when you enter the establishment there is a lot of seating whether you want to be on the ground floor, second floor or outdoors. I really enjoyed the cozy and fun atmosphere from the décor, signage, and the staff members. The staff members were very welcoming, patient, and kind throughout our experience here and with other guests. It is a mostly self service space but you can leave your dishes at the table as staff will come get it. There are two different water stations and a cute condiment area with several types of hot sauces, napkins and ketchup. We got a vanilla mocha, vanilla latte, a brunch burger, and eggs benedict. We got our drinks first then got our food. My boyfriend really loved his burger while I really enjoyed the eggs benedict. The coffee was so good that my boyfriend told the cashier/barista that he loved it. A great spot for breakfast or lunch!

Country hash

The place had lots of great reviews - check Place is packed - check Should be good breakfast - no check. When you pay over $50 for breakfast for 2 you expect a good meal. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. Wife got just a basic 2 egg breakfast with bacon and fruit. I got the country hash. Add a peach pastry (earned them the 1 star), a chia tea. And an ice tea and you have a pretty bad $50 breakfast. Looks like they make a lot of coffee here, but they don't understand tea. Both were just water. So be aware you tea drinkers. So the country hash really caught my eye when looking at the menu, but what I got didn't match the billing. "Smothered in gravy" now when I read that, my mouth just start drooling. It seems the cook has a different vision of this. The grave was just placed in the corner of the plate as an after thought. It was so liquidy that I can understand why there wasn't more....it would have been soup. Now the Gravy wasn't the first thing that caught my eyes...it was the eggs. Nothing is more upsetting than a lazy cook. Breaking an egg yolk can happen, but don't pass your mistake on to the customer. Especially when you demand high $$$. Start it over and cook it right. Whoever brings the food out should be quality control, you're just going to bring this out and hope the customer doesn't complain? I'm not sure how they cooked the potatoes, because there was no crisp freshness to them. Maybe cooked the night before and microwaved? I usually add salt to everything, fortunately there was non on the table. I'm guess it's because all the salt they had was in this "gravy" it's pretty bad when I call something salty. I asked the wife how her meal is and she just said...one of the worst breakfasts I have had. I did need to ask her any details, because I knew what she meant.

Great place to stop after a rainy morning beach walk. Plenty of outdoor sitting, delicious pastries and warm drink options. Just order inside at the counter

Is it a cookie attacking a croissant? Yep.

Welcome to a tourist town with one major grocery store. I lived in Ocean Shores for over 2 years. I…read morejoined the membership rewards and never really received any perks. I spent roughly $300 a week on groceries conservatively speaking. The pricing of the products are higher in the Summer and tourist season. This sucks for the locals but it is common with all businesses in Ocean Shores. I recommend shopping at Costco for your staples before going on vacation in Ocean Shores. It's not uncommon to pay almost $10 for a bag of chips. Just a warning. The service is a hit or miss depending on the time of day and season. The staff can get tired of tourists and not be as friendly. The selection is limited due to the remote location of Ocean Shores. This means if you are looking for special ethnic foods and vegetables, you maybe out of luck. Bring these items from home. I am SE Asian and the selection was lacking as far as fresh herbs and greens go. I was missing many sauces over the years for stir fry like sesame seed oil, hunan, and chili oil. I drove to Olympia for Jasmine rice purchased 100lbs at a time. The deli is pricey but there is only one McDonalds in town and no other fast food options. Most the restauarants are $20 or more per entree. Hence the deli fried chicken and warn foods will look less expensive. The JoJos friend chicken is popular along with the potatoes wedges.

I had to lower my review for this place. When you go through the dairy department and you start…read morepicking up items that have been expired for months. An example was the Tillamook cream cheese. It expired in January and here it is April. The more I began to look at things the more I found items were expired or close to their expiration date. I also have to mention that their prices have gone up a great deal in the store. It was a slap in the face to see how expensive items have gotten.
