Pointe Management is much closer to us geographically and has a quicker response time than the previous one located in Ft. Lauderdale. We found them non too soon, after suffering through a couple years from an elder couple of mobsters who sized up our condo for its money-making potential, and slowly with bullying, threats and lies wormed their way into power. Some unit owners, grandfathered in, have long warped checkered histories of doing things "on the cheap" with "bad business practices" and the building has been a victim of "flagrant neglect". Many of our unit owners are elderly and easily intimidated by the bullies who did unspeakably bad things. Many of these folks want a full time on-site manager but aren't willing to pay more money even with concrete chunks falling from the balconies on the parking lot, broken waste pipes, and potholes around the pool. We had a successful recall but the twisted vermin are clinging to their illegal money-making shenanigans especially with unlicensed contractors and even trying to bully vulnerable owners into signing their own reverse recall. We are a good fit for Pointe with our 2 building 5 story almost 50 year old building by the shore. These new management people are not wishy-washy, nor skanky and easily swayed by criminals. They probably care more about our safety and financial position whether it is about filling out an ARB for work done or being familiar with the advent of electronic voting. Credentials are as good as it gets, along with references and certifications.

I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

We went to an open house for a multi-million dollar property and that's how I got the name of Posh Realty. Buyer beware! "Posh" apparently means JERK at this agency! I walked to the agency to see what kind of commercial property they had for sale. I guess they were angry because it was false advertising. They had ZERO commercial property! I was open to ANY type of property. When I let the broker know that, she said "Thats not how we do things here, you tell us what you want and we find it for you." I did tell her. I was interested in ANY property, as my budget to purchase was 100 million. AND I HAVE PROOF OF FUNDS!!! So, I said.. are there any positive cash flow companies? And she said "No, we have nothing for you." I left. What a horrid broker. I do have the sales lady's name and that poor woman should not be punished for what the owner of a company does. They stated they couldn't be cashed because it was filled out incorrectly. So being who I was I went and got new money orders so she could move in her apartment. They made me go through western union to get my money back then finding out they were paid clean. They stated they were deposited into a Wells Fargo but in fact they were deposited into a chase bank which they used at the time. I went back and forth through the bank, filed a police report because I had to for western union, sent 25 plus emails, spent more money through western union so they could do research. I want people to know what happened to be careful, the employee that handled this is no longer there probably from stealing and there is only excuses from this team. I've never had this happen in my 16 years of renting experience. THEY STOLE THE MONEY, you'd think they'd make it right since they were the ones that told her how to fill it out in the first place. I tried doing it the right way but now I have to expose what happened. None of this was ok, and they may think it would just disappear. Their properties are nice and generally do a decent job otherwise. They scammed me and I went back and forth for a year, bank to western union to them to try and figure this out spent another 300, to find out they deposited the money. This has been a nightmare, and a lot of time and effort. Money is just money and I wanted to make sure she was in the apartment. However I can't allow a property management company to just take that money and it all be ok. I just don't believe I needed to all the work to get it back either, the company should own mistake and take on the financials to get the money back because of what happened regardless. I have received multiple letters from western union and conversations all stating it was deposited and confirmation of that.
