They have a separate entrance for the women's gym, but since we are both male we went through the regular entrance. If you're a female, you an use both. They have a little dining section right when you enter where you can make coffee and relax. The rest of the floor is the gym which is massive; I'll be honest in that I didn't get to see everything cause we were pressed for time. They have a very nice pool and hot tub in the back. I didn't get to swim but the pool looks nice and clean. Locker room is in need of some updates. It was a little crusty and the carpet was peeling in some spots. Overall, it's a nice family gym that needs some small updates here and there. I will definitely be back!

As a woman entering peri-menopause, I knew I needed to learn strength training, proper form, mind-muscle connection, and how to use machines I wasn't familiar with. After joining LA Fitness, you receive a free consultation/assessment. Mary was fantastic during this process--she took the time to understand my capabilities, goals, and needs. After the assessment, she paired me with Jimmy B! Initially, I was overwhelmed by the idea of creating the "perfect workout." I didn't know how to choose which muscle groups to work or when. Jimmy simplified everything and made it easy to learn. I also appreciated how relatable he was--just because he's a trainer doesn't mean he hasn't had his own journey. It's encouraging to know we all start somewhere, regardless of skill level. Each workout was recorded in a book, creating my own personalized program that I could reference anytime. Jimmy explained every movement, what muscles I was working, and why proper form matters. No question was ever "stupid." He was patient and made sure I truly understood. He pushed me past my limits, kept me out of my comfort zone (in the best way), and helped me grow--both mentally and physically. By the end of my sessions, I was a new woman! I gained confidence, self-love, and the discipline to work out on my own without relying on group classes. While I no longer train with Jimmy due to budget, if you can make it work, I HIGHLY recommend investing in yourself and your health. He suggested that perhaps I should finish his portion of the job because he will not be working on it. He became very confrontational and behaved like a toddler when I confronted him about the job he was paid to do not being complete. He then lied to the vendor Thermasol about the issue and told them that he is being treated unfairly. He is unprofessional, has an incredibly bad attitude, and has no customer service skills. Furthermore he is careless and incompetent. Run, don't walk, away from doing business with this company.

He gave a few tips on maintenance and what we could do if we ever wanted to upgrade anything in the bathroom. Very genuine guy.
