I wouldn't leave my purse or belongings sitting out in the open or even in a locker unlocked. So that is kind of silly to begin with and yes it could've been an employee but it could've happened with another customer or member as well. I would not leave my belongings in a locker without a lock if there was a security guard & a camera watching the lockers. Unfortunately we live in a world where locks are needed.. duh ... The staff seems very nice. They don't don't actually do a lot .Last time I was there there was at least five or more of the staff standing around the desk and not walking around or monitoring anything. The place was kind of empty but then there should be so many on staff at that time. The facility is pretty clean. Yes like it any place there are some jerks that don't clean off the equipment so you could either report them at the desk, say something to them yourself or like me just clean the equipment yourself before and after you used it. It is a pain but at least i dont get or leave my germs or sweat for someone else.. For what you pay for you get a decent gym. With decent equipment and I guess you just have to pick what time to go that it's not busy. There are not a lot of germs in this area, and we are lucky enough to have one that is open 24 hours except on the weekends which they're still open in enough time that you can get your ass there if you really wanted to. No place is perfect but this is a pretty decent gym. If people were a little bit more conscious, courteous, and used a little bit of common sense. It would be even better.

Even in the 30 min circuit, they just come in and sit on a machine and look at the phone. I don't believe they understand the red and green lights of the 30 min workout and there are signs that say managers 'monitor phone use' and to 'have phone conversations in the lobby' but nothing is enforced. You have to be aggressive and ask for use of the machine or you will wait all day for them to finish texting/scrolling. But for 15 bucks, I guess that is the standard.

Was told I was going in loops when describing my frustration, spoke over me throughout most of the call which made it difficult to get to an understanding, could not remember my name and was told that I was one of 2,000 people so that she was incapable of remembering my name. Aside from that, I was misgendered when addressed on the phone but at that point I was already checked out and decided to cancel my membership. There is more I could say but again at that point my decision was made Unfortunately once I arrived at the gym to cancel the membership I was told by a different manager that I could not do that being that there was an outstanding balance, despite what Gabbie said. However, after bariatric surgery, those classes no longer supported my health and fitness goals. The inflammation in my body was too much and was counteracting my hard work. As a woman entering peri-menopause, I knew I needed to learn strength training, proper form, mind-muscle connection, and how to use machines I wasn't familiar with. After joining LA Fitness, you receive a free consultation/assessment. Mary was fantastic during this process--she took the time to understand my capabilities, goals, and needs. After the assessment, she paired me with Jimmy B! Initially, I was overwhelmed by the idea of creating the "perfect workout." I didn't know how to choose which muscle groups to work or when. Jimmy simplified everything and made it easy to learn. I also appreciated how relatable he was--just because he's a trainer doesn't mean he hasn't had his own journey. It's encouraging to know we all start somewhere, regardless of skill level. Each workout was recorded in a book, creating my own personalized program that I could reference anytime. Jimmy explained every movement, what muscles I was working, and why proper form matters. No question was ever "stupid." He was patient and made sure I truly understood. He pushed me past my limits, kept me out of my comfort zone (in the best way), and helped me grow--both mentally and physically. By the end of my sessions, I was a new woman! I gained confidence, self-love, and the discipline to work out on my own without relying on group classes. While I no longer train with Jimmy due to budget, if you can make it work, I HIGHLY recommend investing in yourself and your health. With his incredible coaching, I've watched my body transform dramatically--from obese to overweight, to average, and now to fit, toned, strong, and healthy! He has walked off my job 3 times now and I as the consumer was left with the expense and aggravation of having to hire additional contractors to finish the work he refused to complete. He suggested that perhaps I should finish his portion of the job because he will not be working on it. He became very confrontational and behaved like a toddler when I confronted him about the job he was paid to do not being complete. He then lied to the vendor Thermasol about the issue and told them that he is being treated unfairly. He is unprofessional, has an incredibly bad attitude, and has no customer service skills. Furthermore he is careless and incompetent. Run, don't walk, away from doing business with this company.

Whilst we could only find one jacuzzi technician online linked to Hoboken, who was not very flexible on timing, Aaron made time to come by Sunday morning. Even though it's not super cheap to have someone come by for 20 mins. only (not in the neighbourhood), we found it very reasonable and would recommend - he knocked off some bucks in the end also (I asked). He gave a few tips on maintenance and what we could do if we ever wanted to upgrade anything in the bathroom. Very genuine guy.
