Called Oceana Cycles and spoke with Trey, asked if he could service my 2002 Honda VTX R 1800. Needed my brakes adjusted fluids changed and new tires. It took a while to get to me but once they did they did an outstanding job. New tires felt great on the road. Most the bikes here are HD but to them a cycle is a cycle and thats what they do, maintain motor cycles. Great find. Thanks Trey and Oceana Cycles.

BAR INSTALL.....Took a bit longer than expected but with covid no one wants to work. Only 2-3 people on staff that i know of so the wait time can't be criticized. Once the work started i was updated fully on the progress only small delays mainly because my wrong doing on the cables i purchased on line. Which Trey and his employee worked around quickly for me. No extra charges were thrown at me because of my mess up.

Don't take this the wrong way however - there is a certain amount of charm to an older dealership that's survived the ups and downs over the years in the motorcycle industry yet somehow continues to open the doors every morning. It establishes an unspoken trust in an industry riddled with untrustworthy types. Take it from me, I used to work in it. Having said that - this is the motorcycle shop an enthusiast, weekend warrior or someone just starting out can buy a bike, get it serviced or fill a parts order without having to second guess the professionalism or integrity of the staff. That's increasingly rare these days but appreciated nonetheless.

I filled out the appointment details online but didn't hear back from them so I called and one of the mechanics told me "I'm too busy to pay attention to that online BS just bring the bike in and we'll look at it". They are busy and it took them about a month to get the repair estimate but once I gave the go ahead they were terrific about keeping me updated about the status of the work being performed. After Mike got done working on it and I took it down Tidewater on the way home the bike ran like brand new. Of course it helped that I had drained the tank before putting it into storage. Real old school, reliable way of doing motorcycle maintenance.

Every single employee in this shop goes above and beyond being helpful and informative. We came to…read morethis shop after being snubbed by the C word shop years ago and have never looked back. We love the fact that we can bring our son's bike back in for an up-grade/ trade-in, as well as my husband's, and they are more than willing to assist. I am "gearing -up" to bring my Specialized oldie-but-goodie in for a complete make-over, because I just can't part with the old gal. Every positive visit to Trek has been learning about inventory and exploring bikes and merchandise at our leisure with no sales pressure, whereas the "neighboring store," told my four year old to "get off of that bike," and those jerks lost 3 sales unbeknownst to them. Customer service is key. Trek bikes is the best in Virginia Beach, as well as any shop we have visited in any state we have traveled. We are life TREKKIES! Thank you so much!

No other customers were in the store at no point did either acknowledge our existence let alone say " we'll be with you". I went up to cashier and said "we want to buy a bike can you help us" he says no but he could talk about the bikes. The salesperson heard us but said nothing to us. We walked put went across the street to Contes bike shop and bought a bike. Basic customer service. Acknowledge people. We're are a middle age couple with a teen. You missed out
