Bottom Line: Cheesy beach souvenirs. Much like Wings and Sunsations, this is where you come when you need some cheap toys for the beach, a OBX sweatshirt or some junky souvenirs. I think this type of store certainly has its place as I enjoy dropping in for postcards and random things I "need" for a week at the beach. On my most recent trip I grabbed some $4 rafts for pool and $8 sunglasses. The staff was friendly and had personality which is more customer service than I usually get at stores like this. read more

I went here because they advertised the 15% off w/ Food Lion receipt, however, what they don't say is that is only a certain items. If the item has already been " marked down" you do not get the discount! Maybe it was on the fine print under the HUGE 15% OFF? I explained that the sign did not specify this and she gave me A discount but not THE discount. Anyway, after I purchased, a day later I decided to wear a tee shirt, only to discover that when I peeled of the sizing tag, the letters of the shirt peeled off with it! Needless to say, I took it back and showed them what happened and they had no issue exchanging. They do have a large selection of items and my guess is most of the discount shops are about the same. read more

firstly the selection is cheap, especially for young kids. mostly tye dye options and clearly not a lot of thought put into the options. secondly, i have never met ruder workers in my entire life. the young cashiers are fine, but the middle aged owners (a man and a woman) are some of the rudest, cruelest people i have ever met (and i'm not the type of person to make reviews claiming that). the owners screamed at me and claimed i stole, even though i didn't, and then forced me to pay for the item DOUBLE!! (or else they would call the police). absolutely horrific, i am a young girl and they very clearly took advantage of me. just go to super wings, the selection and prices are better. read more

This was by far the worst shopping experience I have ever had. My stepmom and I went in to find a bathing suit for me because the ones I brought with me on the trip were from years ago and didn't fit anymore. **Some backstory-- I have a really hard time with body image, and I also have a very hard time finding bathing suits that fit me. I'm not a tiny person, but I'm not big... I wear size small shirts almost everywhere, sometimes medium, and depending on where I shop I fit into a size 6 pair of pants. So I'm a pretty average size.** Anyway, we go in and start picking out suits that seemed like they might work. My stepmom instantly found two (she's very small, and has the body of a mannequin) and set them aside to buy. I started trying some on. Extra large bottoms were too small... Extra large tops were too small... I was getting really sad because I felt like a whale. I kept trying though because I really needed to find a suit. We were cleaning up as we went to be courteous-- hanging the suits back up and returning them to the right spots. This made the shopping take longer, but we wanted to make sure we didn't leave a mess for the workers to clean. About an hour in, I'm in the dressing room and I hear the store owner approaching my stepmom. He proceeds to say "No more trying suits. You try too many. This is very not usual. No more." And then he walked away. I went from being upset to angry pretty quickly. So you don't sell suits that fit a normal sized person, and when paying customers are attempting to find something to buy, you kick them out? Are you kidding me?! We were both in shock. My stepmom went up to him and said "Just so you know, I had two suits I was going to buy, but I'm not going to buy them from here anymore." And he said "I don't care. Goodbye." Don't shop here. Clearly this man should not own a store or even work in customer service. We went to Birthday Suits the next day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff who asked what we were looking for, and then went all around the store picking out suits that fit my description. After trying on TWO suits, I was set! I bought them both. The suits were way better quality, there was much more to choose from, AND the staff was amazing. THAT is how customer service SHOULD ALWAYS be done. read more

I stopped at this store since they had a big sign out front that you get 15% off with a Food Lion receipt. When I went to purchase a few items, they has rung the item up and them I remembered the sign out front. I asked if I could get the 15% off, the people running the register acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. The man them told me he couldn't do anything about it since he already rung it up. I asked if he could re-ring up the items and he told me no. I told him that wasn't good customer service and he refused. I told him I didn't want the items so I left. Very poor customer service on their end. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR YOUR BEACH SOUVENIRS! There is no return policy, which isn't posted anywhere in the store. It is printed at the bottom of your receipt, so you won't know it until after you bought the product. The managers or owners (not sure) are terrible to deal with as well. We watched as, what we assume is the owner, scream at a customer to get out of the store over a return. It was very off putting, so much so that I grabbed my children and walked out. I was in disbelief of what I saw. Plus, you can get the exact same merchandise from all of the other stores around, so why not pick one that won't treat you poorly? read more
