This non profit will be providing sustainable living in affordable tiny house communities. Gods plan: We have two model properties that I am in the process of purchasing. The first property that God had me put under contract was a meth lab home on a 1.1 acre lot. Even though at the time of putting under contract I didn't know what the property was, but this was God's plan. The second property is a 1.1 acre also but a family oasis filled with fruits and vegetables and herbs and chickens and ducks and its own fishing pier. God is using these two properties as a model, a comparison of what things are currently and what will be with Gods help. God gave me specific instructions on The process of making this 1.1 acre of meth lab home into his garden of Eden. If we get a chance to speak I would love to tell you the story. God saw a problem and he wants everybody to know he is bigger than all of of this crime, drugs, Prostitution, and/or all of the disasters on this earth. And we need to trust his plan. Currently we live in a world of people taking and not giving. Especially people with hurts, habits, and hangups, but God is asking us to help people become an investment in our communities. Once a person sees their value and sees their purpose and we give them the opportunity to become a valuable asset in our community that's when we will see big change in this country. God is asking us as a community to help people become an investment. When we lift them up and take them out their old life and give them a new life of purpose and productivity. This is the way God wants it done, this is his step-by-step plan. This plan also may change and grow as we are moving forward. The Mission for step up step out is to provide a lifestyle of building people up and giving them what they need to be successful. God has shared with me that we should not only be GIVING people food, housing, and a job but to teach them how to EARN it. We are to do it by building them up in their relationships and to teach them that God has a purpose for their life and they are more than their situation or their surroundings. When we give somebody something they can't/don't appreciate it, because they do not feel worthy but when they work for it and earn it, Then they are invested. The people that will be living in these communities will own their home however they will be no money exchanged. How this program works is that people will earn points by going to recovery meetings, in services, taking courses, doing internships, volunteering, Sharing their God given talents, learning a trade, learning how to maintain their home, and learning how to a maintain a sustainable living lifestyle. God has asked me to go out and find the professionals that will teach the trades to the people living in the community. God has also asked me to find All the people needed to build this kingdom. He specifically asked for the painters, the carpenters, the plumbers, the electricians, spray foam insulation installers, sheet work installers, the surveyors, the sewer and septic designer, the well digger, craftsman to build furniture and cabinets, people to provide and bring food to the job sites, the attorney for the 501c3, website and graphics designer and video production for creating and monitoring the website for his purpose,the accountant to handle all the details of his project, the land owners, The people with knowledge of living off grid, and people that can help with solar, the money to purchase the permits, the supplies to build and buy the land. As things progress God will show us what is needed next. We will be teaching them how to fish, how to catch clams and shrimp, how to raise their own food such as chickens and ducks how to plant and harvest the fruits and vegetables on the land that they live on. There will also be a food pantry on the sites for the products that we can't maintain. How God sees this working out: Once we teach them a trade, and how to raise and harvest their own food, and maintain their own home and we give them a sense of purpose and direction. They will live in these communities as long as they are needed and God will transplant them to new communities which they will start with the knowledge that they have learned. God is sending this message out and he is asking us to put it on social media, he's asking us to speak the words to everyone in our church, in the grocery stores, when we're sitting at the table with friends, when we're out to eat at restaurants, when we are on vacation. If you are not able to speak these words you can print it out and share it with all those that you meet. A little over two years ago my husband and I purchased a house in Vero Beach that we planned to use as a vacation rental for ten years or so and perhaps retire in Vero after that. We had been living in the center of the state of Florida in Haines City for the previous 19 years. After buying the rental house we spend 3 weekends fixing it up for the renters and each of the three weekends we visited Vero Beach churches that were nondenominational because we were here on a Sunday and wanted to honor the Lord. We had a nice church in Haines City but we wanted a Vero Beach Church for when we were here on the weekends. On the 3rd weekend we visited Oceans Unite Christian Centre which we found on the internet listed under Non-Denominational Church in Vero Beach. I'll admit I really didn't want to visit there. I thought it looks small and I can't be anonymous there. Unfortunately I had low expectations (sad but true!). But we went anyway and then it was small but...... we loved every minute of it! There were 27 people there that first day and two years later there are over 300 worshipping there. Well we loved it so much, that we began to commute an hour and a half from Haines City on Sundays, staying all day for the night service (which is always awesome!) arriving back home in Haines City around 11PM. Our Vero house was occupied by renters so church people would take us home with them between the morning and evening services. After a year of this we said to each other, "let's not wait 10 years, let's move to Vero now!" So we did! This church was worth moving for! The pastors Alex and Naomi Pappas are challenging us in so many wonderful ways. We are growing where we didn't even know we needed to grow. Although we've loved the Lord for 40+ years we feel brand new all over again. We look forward to every service and sit on the edge of our seats in anticipation! This church is also so very loving. Not just the pastors, but the whole team! We've made so many new friends there. My husband followed the leading of the Holy Spirit 2 years ago and I was reluctant but followed. What started off as a act of obedience became a fulfillment to our destiny and the reason God brought us to Vero Beach. Oceans Unite is a cell church and more closely follows the model I believe Jesus began house to house, home to home community. A Genius plan to reach a lost and dying world. Oceans Unite has an emphasis on what counts the most, Jesus came to reach the lost. We don't babysit children, we impart faith, hope and love. We don't raise spiritually obese youth, we minister life, plant seeds and then give them the opportunity to reach out and serve where they are planted, community. We have ministry opportunities of evangelism and outreach to the homeless to the hurting to the brokenhearted. And a long side of all this comes signs, wonders, and a demonstration of God's love and power. We believe in the prophetic, the infilling of the Holy Spirit,the fruit of the Holy Spirit and to walk out the greatest commission and the greatest gift, love. We are a growing body of believers but what that begins he will perfect until he comes again. Are young pastors demonstrate a zeal of god that consumes them and models this love. For this purpose is the son of God manifest, to destroy the works of the evil one. The serendipities that we enjoy are having the privilege of worshiping our king with the worship team that is binding together, sacrifices their time and efforts to surrender excellence. Our Father's House is a House of Prayer and Prayer is of most importance to Ocean's Unite. We come together from 6 to 7 AM which will live worship and prayer on Wednesday mornings also on Saturdays and Sundays before services. A praying church is a staying church. I crave coming to church every week. I hate missing any service. I love all the people. They are so loving and compassionate. I see them welcome everyone no matter what. I see a whole congregation that is hungry to know Abba father! I feel that spiritually I have grown so much in the past five months. It is unbelievable! Pastor is so passionate and I can tell he spends hours upon hours in the presence of God! I get so much out of every sermon! I get new revelation of who he is, of his blood of his grace of its power of who I am in Christ! I have been through so much healing and freedom these past few months it is just unexplainable! I can't believe that when Pastor Speaks that I can get so much out of the Bible that I've never gotten before and I was raised in a Christian home and attended a church at least three times a week. We moved to this area two years ago and began our search for a non-denominational church in Vero Beach. We visited and visited and were growing weary of searching. Then some teenagers invited my teens to youth group at Oceans Unite Christian Centre. Right away my kids knew this was the church we were looking for. This church showed us love from day one. The people at Oceans do so much to support and love on their members and the community.
