What an awesome place, I've had both auricular acupuncture (outer ear) treatments by Jane for back pain and it took the pain away. I definitely will go back for more. I've also done foot reflexology with Tracy and loved how she manipulates the feet bottoms with just enough pressure that feels so good and felt like I could walk lighter afterwards. Oceanside Healing is awesome! The owner, Jane, has created a lovely, vibrant and compassionate, healing place for anyone on the Coast. She hosts a 'Grief Walk' and 'Grief Sound Healing' once a month, as well as drumming circles and other cool events. I recently took a 'Grief Yoga' class that was very gentle and restorative. I also tried a new modality of massage (for me) called Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage with Shirley. A very healing experience - interesting and different from any other type of massage I've received. Shirley also guides the drumming circle which I've only attended once so far, but definitely plan to go again soon. Jane is a knowledgeable and talented acupuncturist. Per her recommendation I tried self-acupressure. She applied seeds on my acupressure points to help me 'as needed' for a on a very, very long trip to Bali and they worked great! I can't say enough about Jane and her kindness and compassionate nature and the beautiful business she has created. I am deeply grateful to her for the 'grief-focused' healing community. Grief is a personal experience, but I found that having a supportive community and connection with other people who have experienced loss is priceless. Through the Grief Walk, I found unexpected comfort just sharing companionship with fellow humans who understand and share the depth of your pain without explanation. And the Grief Sound Healing with Joseph always transports me. Joseph creates a special space that feels safe. In that space I feel secure enough to let go and allow any feelings to bubble up. I've brought others and all have appreciated his gentle energy and compassion. You choose a brass singing bowl and create a comfortable nest for yourself with a yoga mat, blanket and bolster (he provides everything, but you can bring your own stuff as well) and then you lay down, put the singing bowl on your body if you choose (him or his assistant will walk around the room and play each bowl - you can feel the sound vibrates through your chakras - I've been to other sound healings, but this was the first I experienced with the bowl being played touching my body)...then just close your eyes and let the music transport you. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for healing whether it be for acupressure, massage or community on the Coastside. read more

All around, my experience at Oceanside Healing, in particular, with Jane has been fantastic. I've had several appointments with her due to my neck, shoulder and back issues. She listens attentively, asks questions, and genuinely cares about helping you feel better. Per her recommendation, I've had acupuncture and cupping done. Both treatments relieved the pain that I was experiencing, loosened up my tight muscles and increased my blood flow. This review is long overdue. If it was possible to give more than five stars, I would. Jane is an amazing acupuncturist! She is very knowledgeable and thorough. When she places the needles on your body points, you can hardly feel them. I've been to several acupuncturist and it's not comfortable when they add pressure in placing the needles. I've been seeing Jane for several years for stress, hay fever/allergies, eczema, and fertility issues and I've always seen results. The last several years, I've been trying to get pregnant with no success. I finally had her do some fertility work on me and I truly believe with her skill and knowledge that she helped me get pregnant. I now have 7month old twins.
