Ordered off a food delivery app. Pickup in 10 minutes. Make your own bowl. It didn't specify what size it was but it was $11. Their pricing on the food app vs. in store is different. In store ordering a small is $9.50 vs. a large is north of $11. I was very surprised at how big it was. Got a lot of kale and rice. The portion of fish was probably just one scoop though ( 4oz). Got the brown rice and kale mix. You get to choose one fish for your protein. but they have a box for tuna and salmon since that's a popular combo. Typical add ons/mix ins as other places. Overall I enjoyed it. Portion of fish seemed small relative to the bowl, but if you're looking for a filling dinner this is it. I just don't know if I got the small or large size. read more

I was visiting the area and was craving sushi. After reading all the rave reviews I decide to pick up a couple of items to take back to my hotel room. I ordered the Tiger lunch combo & a spicy tuna roll. I also asked for an extra side of spicy Mayo (which I gladly paid for). The combo came with the tiger roll, a California roll, and salad. First, the couple that runs the restaurant are very professional and kind, and obviously have a great following. 5 stars! The portion sizes were larger than what I'm used to getting, especially for "basic" rolls. They obviously want to give their customers the best value for their money. 5 stars! The tiger roll was so tasty, but one of the ingredients didn't taste quite right. After 3 pieces I stopped eating that one. The Cali roll was good - you can't really mess that one up. The spicy tuna roll - although it was a good sized roll, there was something off in the flavor. The smell was a bit off too. After 2 bites I had to throw that one away (I got mild food poisoning that night - not fun). The dressing on the salad was very thick in texture. It hung off the salad, kind of slimy in texture. It wasn't very appealing to me. I've eaten sushi my entire life, and maybe I'm just being very picky. But spending over $20, then not being able to eat a majority of the items, and then getting sick...I'll look for another sushi option the next time I'm in town. read more

I wasn't a big fan of the salad but it provided a nice crunch to the meal. This combo came with eight pieces in each roll. The specialty rolls were slightly smaller with six pieces each. I was a big fan of the crazy roll which had seared salmon. I would pass on non-roll items such as the salmon tower. I found the portion for this meal to be very small. The salmon tower was covered with some kind of wasabi sauce which I didn't expect. Despite these small issues, I've been coming to this sushi spot regularly. Cbowls is often referred as "the best poke place in dfw" in many yelp reviews. So I decided to check it out and was ultimately underwhelmed. Food - 4 stars Let's start with the food. I decided to do the "myob." Out of all places I've been to, Cbowls is the only place that allows you to pick 1 protein regardless of the bowl size. Most places let you do 2 protein for a regular bowl and 3 for a large bowl. I picked spicy tuna, while the tuna was fresh, the portion was definitely disappointing for a large bowl. The bowl was packed full, so you do get a good amount of food. My biggest complaint is that my rice was completely soaked in sauce (I suspect it was a combination of the sauce that I ordered and pineapple juice/water) which made the bowl way too sour and salty to enjoy. Please better drain your pineapple and put less sauce. Decor - 4 stars Very cute and clean. But way too small, probably 1/3 of the seating of Go Fish Poke and half of other places. 1 outdoor table, but it was awkwardly placed so not sure if I'd enjoy being watched by people coming and going. Service - 5 stars Staff were friendly. Overall, the food was good but nothing impressive to make me come back. Since there are a lot of good poke places around this area, next time I'll just stick to the ones closer to me. read more

I loved their take on Poke. I liked the option of making your own poke. They had a plethora of options and for the price, you get a ton of food. I couldn't even finish it all! The place is a little small if you plan on eating in, but there is outside seating along the building that makes up for it.
