Had a great time at this bar and ordering off the secret menu. Once we got the QR code scanned (hard with the lighting) we ordered based off of the excursion we wanted. We decided to get the tokens for the arcade so ordered the Waka Waka. If you don't know about the secret menu, there is a leaf that you scan on the menu. If drink on that menu comes with some sort of Area 15 activity such as museum discounts, ice cream or tokens. Drinks are creative and the service is fast and friendly. It does come with a crowd so be prepared to wait a bit. read more

My girlfriend brought me to Area 15 for my birthday. We explored for awhile and had cocktails here before heading into Meow Wolf. The design of the bar is awesome with this huge LED/Fiberoptic tree. The service was polite and friendly and the cocktails were beautifully presented and tasted great. The only con, this would have been a 5 star review, was out of the 3 bartenders only 1 was properly wearing a mask (now I'm not big on masks, but it's the governor's mandate). The pretty young woman who served us our drinks was the only one. 1 male bartender had his mask around his neck for the entire hour that we sat at the bar and the other male bartender's mask was not covering his nose the entire time. read more

This bar was so cool! Went here before checking out one of the other exhibits at Area15 and the vibe was perfect! All of the bartenders were so nice and attentive, great to chat with as well. The drinks were delicious, too! My friends and I had bought the Fiasco Cluster Cocktail Experience (paired with Museum Fiasco) so we got the Fiasco Cocktail. This drink came in a sick light up cup; drinking it under the Oddwood bar tree was a fun experience especially with people flying above us on the zipline/hanger thing they had going on. Located inside of Area 15 in Las Vegas, Oddwood is named for an object from The Burning Man Festival and apparently, is a replica of a tree used there with the leaves being LED lights which respond to the music as a centerpiece of this roped off bar area. A centerpiece in a few ways, the owner also owns downtown bar commonwealth and its speakeasy The Laundry (named for its location as the laundry rooms for the first hotel in downtown Las Vegas whose laundry facility was across the road). This is a long-winded way of saying the cocktail program is excellent and being updated in coming weeks. Whilst it might seem a little out of the way for a cocktail, it is perhaps closer to the strip than commonwealth in downtown (roadworks were underway linked to the new Hilton Resorts World project making it a 20 min transfer from the strip). We tried a few cocktails and must say their interpretation of the Old Fashioned using Chocolate bitters from New Orleans was quite original and one of the best drinks I have had on this trip. We came here today to see the famous omega mart. We stopped in to get a drink and enjoyed a few of the specialty cocktails. Absolutely delicious. We decided that the drinks were so good we had to go back and try some other cocktails. Our bartender, Brittagna, was super sweet and honestly made the best drink I've had in years. I felt bad for her cuz some lady was giving her a hard time cuz the bar was busy and the woman didn't feel like she was serviced quickly enough... patience is a virtue lady! Absolutely not. Never again. The staff were friendly enough, which is why it's two stars instead of one. The tree is super cute, but no. There's literally not a thing special about their drinks. No presentation, no flavor. The $17 margarita glass was so small, which ended up being a blessing in disguise because it was so gross. Absolutely no fault of the bartender's, though. I honestly think the recipe just didn't hit for me. We each had literally one drink, and our bill came out to close to $80. I know it's Vegas, but dang, it's early afternoon on a Monday! Was so excited and really impressed with the decors so I asked the guy in front, Daniel, for a table for me and my husband. He said we have to wait, but there's a lot of tables open. Then when he said we can go in, he told me to go to the bar. I asked and pointed on an open table if we can have it, and he looked at my face and said, "BAR!". I loved Area 15 overall. We enjoyed a tour at the distillery and spent some time in Omega Mart and Datamosh. Oddwood is a gorgeous space, often with live music. The prices are high but honestly, not any worse than other locations in Vegas. The tree is absolutely gorgeous and fun to just stare at for a while. The staff here was friendly and efficient and the crowd ebbed and flowed throughout the space. Oddwood is right in the middle of Area 15 and makes a good meeting point if you have a large group with different interests. read more

After checking ID and asking to remove mask briefly to match, staff offered scancode while we were waiting to get in, so we could view the menu from our phones. Very nice touch since the lighting inside made it a bit difficult to view the paper menu. Drinks arrived on time and were very smooth. I liked that they used paper straws, and bottled water arrived in refillable single-wall aluminum bottles, which matches with the bottle refill water fountains located within Area 15. There are 2 seating areas although both are serviced by the same bar: one is located right under the LED tree and at the bar. The leaves of the tree looked to be pulsating with the beat of the music. Located at the corner of the 4 right-angled wood-structured walls surrounding the LED tree, there are multiple outlets and a standing charging station for your electronics (yes, think of those you see at the airport). I can see how customers can stay longer if their gadgets will be fully charged during their stay. Considering that it's within the 4 corners of Oddwood I'd think it's just for customers of the bar. Adjacent to the LED tree, the neighboring bar/lounge seating area looks to be inside/under the meshed net (their high chairs have seatbacks to them for a more comfortable sit, as well as "rock"-shaped loungers. There's a water fountain in the center, and what looks like simulated moss all around the perimeter. (Could it be made of felt?) It looked serene and to me almost like a setting underneath the ocean below the jellyfish. Both vibes between the seating areas are awesome, however I preferred to sit under the mesh net as it provided a more intimate lounge space for me and company. I would have preferred a dedicated lane for waiting. As it's a shared space with other vendors within Area 15, we have people walking from all directions and it was hard at first to differentiate between those trying to enter Oddwall, or those just standing in the middle of the space taking pictures. We had unintentially cut someone in line and then later noticed someone else doing the same thing in their confusion. Perhaps some velvet rope, or arrows on the floor, or a small partition of some kind, to guide entering customers would be nice. read more

He was rude, and not checking on us to give us the second drink we already pre paid for. There was maybe 6 people at the bar including my husband and I but there were 5 staff members behind the bar. He took my husband drink which he didn't finish and I let him know that. He came back like it was empty, which we said no it wasn't. He was constant on it being empty and wasn't understand that it wasn't. He rolled his eyes and walked away. Just to whoever that male working was that night, please be like the others who took care of us when you didn't. You weren't busy so you have no excuse. The tree decor is gorgeous. I definitely love the ambiance. But the drinks are crazy expensive and pretty average. They were all good but not anything spectacular for the pricetag. The volume is the main reason I'm rating it a three. It's impossible to have a conversation or hear the bartender. I think they use oddwood to sort of pump sound through the rest of the open center area of Area 15, but it makes it unbearably loud if you're actually at the bar. read more

I sat at a table while my partner waited in line to order a drink only to be told she had to wait for a cocktail waitress if at a table to get our drink order. I attempted to order drinks with the waitress and within seconds she brushed me off and walked away not letting me get a word in. Very poor customer service from the staff, I've been to this bar twice and the first time the lady that served us was really nice, the second time around this other lady had a bad attitude and so I didn't want to tip, she gave me a nastier attitude and was like, "really you're not going to leave anything?" I ended up tipping but I should have left a penny for the way she was talking to me and my friends. I've gotten treated better at a PTs then here, the drinks are also very overpriced for the amount they give. Do not recommend going to oddwood bar. read more

2 stars for the sound and service. First the Sound is absolutely garbage. It's a shame they bring in so much good talent when you can't even enjoy the music. They have been told so many times but it seems like they don't even care. Also the bartenders think they can say whatever they want Especially the girl with the eye path why doesn't she go back to her ship and sail away. She had the audacity to tell my BESTFRIEND that she's happy she's not his girlfriend because his credit card was damaged and she had to use it.
