The beef brisket, humongous portion size, amazing flavor, some of the best I've ever had. Five out of five. The bread pudding was amazing. It was a four and a half out of five. The cinnamon roll was pretty good. I'll give it a three and a half out of five. Definitely want to put it in the oven and get it nice and hot. The elote, the corn, was a little tough that day, but had it as a leftover. Got it nice and piping hot, tendered up the corn. I'll give it a 3.5 out of 5, nice flavor. The baked beans didn't have any meat or anything in it like I've seen in the past. Reasonable flavor, three out of five. I'll definitely be coming back to try some of the other features that they offer. It is quite a drive for me, almost 45 minutes, but it's some of the best barbecue I've had in Kansas City.

The manager came over and denied it smelling like anything. My husband had finished his meal, and we weren't looking for a freebie but wanted to let them know it was a lil weird. Instead of acknowledging the potential issue, we were dismissed as "wrong." It just didn't sit right with me. My husband had some definite issues in the hour or two after eating, so we won't be back. I won't say it was food poisoning because genuinely it could have just not agreed with my husband.
