It's a small joint but adorably decorated. Dishes are reasonably priced. Their teriyaki salmon bowl is quite nice, and they have other refreshing sushi lunch entree options as well. They make their soy sauce in house (the green bottle marked sucre is actually fait maison, home made, doesn't mean sweet soy sauce). They make their wasabi in house as well. At each table there is a different card game. Quite cute. For you to pass time. At the counter, they have a sign in French saying that even super man has an allergy (kryptonite), so please don't be shy to tell them if you have any food allergy. Love the humor. Upon entering, it is a nice place, kinda like a eurasian fusion feel. We had first dinner seating so it was kind of empty. I ordered a dinner plate with salmon nigiri, salmon & avocado maki, these yakiniku sticks with strips of been wrapped around cheese (French accent to a Japanese meal), egg plant appetizer (was REALLY good), miso soup, bowl of white rice, along with a bit of seaweed salad. It was really good! My wife had udon with tempura. The curious thing was that there was no dipping sauce for the tempura unlike where you would find almost everywhere else (maybe a French thing? I dunno)... and I've eaten Japanese foods in different 'States, Japan, Singapore ... My son had a sashimi dinner and he said that it was really good. I managed to take a few photos, then the worker and manager came over to us to say that picture taking was not allowed. Oh well ... kinda deflated the experience a bit. So I can say I ate Japanese food in France at least once :)
