What a wonderful experience, walked in the door and was immediately assisted by two associates. This time I was there to drop off a FedEx package which they noticed me walking in with and immediately helped without me asking. A few weeks ago I was in here to get a copy made and the copy center was closed. An associate helped me with the self copy center sending it from my phone to the printer. I am grateful for them taking the time to help me as it was my first time doing this and I didn't quite understand how it worked. It is always so nice to have the employees greet people as they enter the store and ask if they can help me find something. Sometimes, I can go directly to the item I want to purchase. Other times, I need someone to not only lead me to an item I need, but also show me HOW to use the item! I also appreciate it when the employee helps me find similar items on sale, then lets me make my choice(s). Their friendliness and helpful attitude are always welcome! read more

Is this place actually open? I showed up today with my mother at the time they opened 8am and even stood outside the door for 5-10 minutes... we even saw a female employee see us and bolt back out of sight, we waited to see if maybe she was getting a manager to let us in or at least let us know they weren't open yet.... Usually helpful, with good products. My wife bought a fairly expensive office chair yesterday (2/6/2020) and they were to assemble it for her to pick up, 30 minutes from our home. (They don't deliver.) She picked it up, brought it to her home office, and discovered that it was incorrectly assembled--one arm was loose because the bolts could not be properly tightened. Our need and distance from the store made it more logical to fix it ourselves, which meant modifying two defective bolts and reassembling the arm, about an hour. Took over 45 minutes to send a fax because only ONE employee in the whole store and a half a dozen customers waiting in line to check out. I finally get his attention and ask for a cover sheet, which they're out of in the stand, and he sighs and walks like a teenager carrying out the trash to get me one, but can't be bothered to point out where the fax machine actually is. When I finally do get to ask another question, after waiting another ten minutes, then their fax machine breaks down. What a huge waste of my time read more

This is not about the customer service. This is about the policies. I bought a printer which broke within 60 days. Since a store warranty policy wasn't purchase, they cant do nothing about it because the return policy on technology is only good for 14 days. That is just a poor excuse to take your money and make you buy a new one again. The manager was sincere and did her job. I have been twice now. The first time I ordered online 2 pages. When I picked them up they were blurry but that was due to the quality of picture I gave them to start with. My second time I went in to get an order of business cards. I emailed the PDF and told Jennifer what I wanted. Super easy. Two people were ahead of me in line but I still got helped quickly. read more

Ah, the Office Depot in Marble Falls: who prevails when Big Box meets Small Town--Main Street or Monolith? In this case, the red-shirted retail warriors who patrol the aisles here are generally helpful, well-trained, and still speak "local". They often share reliable product knowledge and have (almost) demystified the rewards program (I don't mind doubling down on the brand for occasional discounts, but the web interface is still a bit arcane to me). Also, I recently had to return a printer, and the exchange transaction was uncommonly painless; additionally, the replacement they recommended has been stellar. The efficient in-store UPS shipping counter is a bonus! read more

Registers had no clerk so went to information desk. One young man was helping someone and blonde woman was too busy sorting papers to even say hello and studiously ignored me for several minutes till I ran out of patience and left. I'm sure sorting papers benefits the company more than taking money from a customer. read more

This was one of the most disappointing and frustrating purhase I have ever made. If you need to go there and pick up something on the shelf, you will probably be ok, but DON"T EVER BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS TO BE DELIVERED. They have the WORST out-sourced pick up and delivery company EVER. To make a long story short, the bookcase we bought was delivered 5 days longer than we were told. They would give us a time and date and we would wait and no one would deliver. This got really old after the 3rd or 4th time. No one told us we had to be there to sign either. When it arrived the box was smashed and we questioned the guy delivering it. He didn't say anything. I wanted to refuse it, but we had waited so long, we took a chance. Too bad for us. It was damaged inside and unusable. I spent TWO WEEKS on the phone and writing emails to get someone to pick it up. We weren't allowed to take it to the store for a refund. Again many false promises, dates and times where no one showed up to collect the item. We were just disgusted. Spent hours on the phone. Finally someone came. Still waiting for our refund. Like they say BUYER BEWARE. If Office Depot wants to stay in business, they better look for a new delivery company and a whole new system! read more

I stopped in to print off an efile form and fax it. Young lady told me to come back tomorrow as she had ten jobs and wasn't doing any counter service. Took my laptop in to be fixed showed the tech what all needed to be fixed and she said no problem. I also asked if a tech could come to our house and fix or help us understand some techinal issues. I told her everything that we needed help on and she assured me that it could be taken, Called to pick up laptop, never heard from the tech to come to the house. Called a few times got hung on, no answer, etc. Finally got through talked to the manager and he so needed to work on his personality skills. He told me had to bring the laptop in, didn't know anything or tell me anything about the tech coming or not after two wks. Went in, was treated like I was an idiot, liar, so I did get my $100 bucks back for the teck not coming. Laptop still needs work but I have someone else that can do it. Paid $450 for a calendar, dr pepper, evaluation of my laptop for $38 which if you walk in the door the sign says free, a tech to come out to the house, and a security system that i've now been told I already have and didn't need a new one that costs $145. Staples in Austin is where we shall go from now on. Not that convenient but hopefully they will just have good customer service, be honest about what they know and what they don't know. Sorry to say but this place needs much improvements!!! Sales person today was young and inexperienced not to mention new. At first she said she could not do what i was asking. I told her I had brought many books there to have the same thing done and there was not a problem.She failed to get my name or phone # so as to call me when my order was finished. I ask her to look up my name or phone # from my previous order and she said she could not do that because they do not keep old orders? It had only been about a year ago. When I picked it up the sales person said there is a book here with no name . I said well the young lady that helped me this morning was not very attentive and she made the excuse "Well she's new!" I thought do they not train their new employees? Where is the customer service these days? Glad I do not need things done very often....would go to Austin! read more
