Hubby & I wanted a double lock black one like we had before & we couldn't find one at the other Home Depot or Lowe's so we came here. And they had exactly the one we wanted. I stood in the lumber section for 15 minutes, waiting for somebody to help me as associates walked past me. Until I finally stopped one of them and she said oh I'll call somebody. I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for said somebody to come to no avail. After I finally found somebody and showed them the board I wanted and if I could get it cut, he told me those boards are over on the first aisle. You can go get it and bring it to me then I will cut it. So I went back to the aisle, but I was on at the beginning and did not find that specific board that was clearly on the inventory rack with all the other lumber. So I finally just found a pre-cut board that I ended up paying four times price that the other boards cost just to avoid being felt like I was stupid or just because I was a woman- I didn't know what I was talking about. Just do yourself a favor and skip the Home Depot altogether.

We were not really impressed it was very messy , you couldn't find anything as lots of shelves had things thrown all over, plus opened and unopened boxes in the aisles. They may need more help to organize. The only ppl I saw working were at the register , we couldn't find anyone on the floor. No one said Hi when we came in. I saw lots of books but didn't go over there. The prices seemed like Walmart prices nothing stood out as a great deal to us but that depends on what u are looking for I guess. The quantity of product was nice, with lots of example pieces all around. I myself was amazed with their cutting tables and 'in process' wall boards. I took a few ideas from there to incorporate into my wife's sewing room. Highly recommend this place to all the quilters out there!!!
