Office Depot is terrible. I ordered a chair and they cancelled my order for some vague reason about my billing address which I don't have an issue with at any other store. I reordered it but had to call customer service since they price was changed and the discount expired. They were able to fulfill the order so I went to pick it 30 mins away. It's supposed to be brand new but the metal connector was rusted. Not a little either but like a Russian tank on the side of a Ukranian road rusted. Now I have to lug it all the way back to their crappy store for a refund. This place is a waste of time and energy. read more

The varied levels of customer service just in the print shop are amazing. Let's start with my great experience I had with Emily this morning. In a panic I called her telling them I needed business cards made up immediately. She took beyond amazing care of me, asked me to come in so we could create them. She even got them done same day despite me being past the time it was required for it to be same day. She was pleasant and super nice. I go in there to pick them up about 3 hours later and I had Mike. How rude! He was laughing at some of my concerns. He couldn't find my order. He was interrupting me and rushing me through the process of ringing up. Didn't thank me for coming in or anything. So what I would say is if you could deal with JUST Emily, absolutely! That girl deserves a raise! But otherwise go somewhere else. Oh and the bathrooms were disgusting. Also the poster board was super overpriced. read more

I usually get great customer service at this location in the printing department. I am not sure if this new lady is the manager because she was telling people what to do. She has the worst cumstomer service I have ever seen in my life. I watch three people go to the counter for printing and she gave them the worst attitude and rude service ever. I will find another place to print documents. read more

Terrible service! I asked two different people for an item and was only given "over there" kind of directions. Finally gave up and went to check out with what I did have. The two cashiers - not sure if it was end of shift or what - just walked away leaving no one to check out. The stuff isnt that exclusive that I can't get at another store. So I left my basket at the counter and walked out. read more

Submitted a print job at noon, estimated completion at 7pm. At 7pm the manager was not able to tell me if the order would be done tonight and she would cancel the order since it is needed by the morning. Go to FedEx if you need something printed. read more

Office Depot, while convenient, does not offer all of the options that Staple's offers. I frequent this Office Depot quite a bit because it is close to my office and I find that when I visit, they do have what I need, but limit the options of color, style, brand, etc. The store is also not organized very well, so I spend most of my time actually finding items. It is rarely very busy, so there isn't usually a problem with getting help if I need it, but when it is time to check-out, it's usually a ghost town. Plus, they have a giant red sign that reads, "Check Out" at the copy/print area so when I head over there, I am told that is the check-out for the copy print area. Huh? Why do the other lines not get a big giant "check out" sign? Oh well... OD gets the job done, but it's not my fave. read more

I went to pick up a few things this morning, love that they are open at 8:00am on weekdays. Lots of buy 2 get 1 frees and between the Worklife rewards program and returning ink cartridges I get lots of dollars back to spend in the store each quarter. It's like any other office supply. They offer multiple products at an ok price. Location is a bit hidden and out of the way which explains the low traffic to store and amount of customers in store. Sad to say I'm not sure how long this location will be around for with current trends. I wish them best of luck though! read more

Worst. Customer. Service. The manager here is SO RUDE do not shop here. We wanted a display chair (already assembled). It had some scuffs and had been on display for about week. The manager tried to make us pay $12 for assembly charges on top of the posted price for the item EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ALREADY ASSEMBLED. When we tried to reason with him, he offered to "split it with us" and charge us $6 for assembly. I hope you enjoy your extra $6 buster. Buy yourself some realllllll expensive foot cream. read more

I am working away from the office today and ran out of a form that I need as well as accidentally used my last blank copy. I thought I was out of luck and would have to take the rest of the day off!! If you happen to be elderly or disabled in any way that this would be a store to avoid at all costs. My dad called the customer services line before he ordered the office chair and tall filing cabinet to ask if the delivery people would bring it upstairs for him as he's a stroke and heart attack survivor and still has deficits in movement and strength on his right side. They assured him that yes, they would, but when the chair arrived the delivery men refused to even bring it inside the house. When the package was finally opened, it turns out the chair was missing the arm rests and bolts that were supposed to be included in the package. On top of that, despite it being mandated that employees were supposed to wear masks, one delivery guy wasn't and the other was wearing it below the nose, completely negating the point of the mask - both my parents are in their 70s and at high risk for Covid and can't afford to have other people taking risks with their lives. I get they're stuffy to wear but it's better than accidentally killing people. If they don't offer the service of having delivery people bring large items indoors/up stairs when the customer is disabled then just say so, so people can go elsewhere and find a place that will offer that service - it's unfair to both delivery men and the customer to put them in the this situation. Particularly when the customers are elderly and/or disabled and physically cannot get the items where they need to be! And for the love of god, WEAR MASKS. It's not a tall order to ask people to not put others in danger in sickness and death with nearly 140,000 people dead, it's basic human decency. Call me selfish but I would really prefer to not have my parents die because a company couldn't be bothered to enforce basic sanitary measures during a pandemic, or for my dad to have a heart attack trying to carry large items upstairs when he was reassured that he wouldn't have to. Suffice it to say, this location is NOT RECOMMENDED, particularly if you're in my parents' situation - and to top it all off, my dad found the same items on Amazon for cheaper. Go figure. It's a shame they don't have a negative stars option. read more

Due to a personal dilemma, I had to address something with management, which had absolutely nothing to do with them, but the product to which i refer. That said, they were great! What I mean by "they" is He. His name is Don, i think he's one of the managers, and boy, did he deliver! I highly recommend this particular Office Depot location. It's not what these places offer but. who offers it-the professionals who deliver it; whether a product or a service is what matters. I am a 10 year plus business, a few weeks new to the area and I was so pleased with their welcoming and service. I will definitely be coming back. Perhaps you should too. My wife ordered a desk for my office to be delivered on Monday of this week. They didn't come on Monday they said they would be there the next day which would put me at the top of the list to receive the desk. They just didn't come on Tuesday and I waited all day for it to arrive. Calling the store in the delivery people I was on the phone for an hour or better waiting for somebody to pick up the phone and explain to them what what what was going on there was no coordination between Office Depot and the people they had to deliver when we gave them specific instructions on how to get here. We are in a new development and we're not on the GPS so you have to give me the name of the community to get on the premises and then The delivery people can either get instructions from the office or call us to get the lash part of the instructions none of this happened because of the coordination between Office Depot and the delivery people it was so much better when they use UPS. So we canceled the desk by going to the office she purchased room and tell them that we would go to Staples is they seem to know what they're doing for my prior desk that I got from them in the past. I have had to wait over 60 minutes to get my documents printed and then another 30 minutes to for the employee to take them out from the printer and charge me for them. Meanwhile during this time, another employee was able to interject his own request and get his paper printed to be on his way within 2 minutes. The level of service here is staggering given that this is a dead store with only one customer being handled ahead of me. Do not come here to get things printed. Best to go to your local library sadly. read more

I know this firm has merged with another and may be working out the partnership still, but I love this particular store because of the outstanding employees there. I use the print/fax desk and am usually stressed out and in a hurry. The staff (especially Emily) has always accommodated my issues and/or offered cheaper alternatives. I had an opposite experience at Staples, closer to my house but full of nasty employees who act like I'm bothering them. If you have copy/print/fax issues try this store and ask for Emily (or Kenya!) I wanted to order a couple hundred brochures today & when I tried to do so on the phone, they wanted to charge me more than double the price online. I asked if I could get a sample since I had to order online & they told me they didn't offer samples. So I had to order one brochure online earlier today (so I can check it tonight to make sure it comes out the way I expect it to). It was supposed to be ready at 4:30 (I ordered at 2:30) but I haven't received a message indicating my order of one brochure has been printed yet. I am currently on the phone just trying to figure out if I should drive 30 minutes to go pick up my sample and make any edits necessary but even that is going poorly. I keep getting redirected & put on hold by people claiming they're checking my order. Its been 17 minutes & im still on the line. Pretty poor customer service. read more

Extremely disappointed in their customer service. I drove here (20 minutes from my house) on a Monday morning to buy an item that was in the Sunday circular. They were out of stock, refused to give me a rain check and the Managers response was 'it is as supplies last and we've been running sales on this item for 3 weeks.' No apology was offered or alternate item offered. I usually shop at Staples and never run into an issue. This will be my last visit to Office Depot - you can't trust their sales and they clearly will not try to keep a customer. read more

My husband and I purchased a $415.00 desk from office Depot. They did not carry this particular desk in the store so the sales associate ordered it for us online. They charge a $165.00 assembly fee so we had the desk delivered to our home. When the desk arrived we took it out of the box to assemble it and discovered the instructions were not included. After 5 phone calls including to the cooperate office we were told that we cannot return the desk to the store and it's our responsibility to print the 25 pages. After telling them that's not our responsibility the rep THEN offers to print them out and send them to us. Our frustration level is too high at this point to deal with them or this desk. We demanded a return label. So now we have to repack this desk to send it back. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM OFFICE DEPOT. The sales associate never mentioned it could not be returned to the store. This is their way of manipulating you into paying that astronomical assembly fee. read more
