After I received their kit, I ordered a different kit from another company so I had something to use. I brought the issue to their attention. They pushed back significantly. The embosser manufacturer is "Shiny" and I have seen them work. They work well, so the problem lies with the seal prepared by Presto Direct. To their credit; they offered to re-do the seal, but I ordered an embosser with two seals and both tore the paper. Further, the notary book they sent is too small to write in, so that was another fail. To their credit, the ink stamp worked, but that is all.

I purchased a library embosser for my college-age son thinking it would be a gift that would last…read morefor decades. What I received I ended up trashing because there was nothing else to be done with it. When the embosser delivered, the product produced an embossing that wasn't deep enough to read at a normal book-to-face distance. Additionally, the small point size type (and thus small closed counters of the letters A & R), as well as crowded letter spacing of only an 8 total letter first and last name provided me a $40 illegible embosser. I pulled out an old embosser of mine to compare embossings from the two, and the difference was night and day. I emailed the company a picture to show them the difference, and to request either a refund or a substitute product that would produce a clearly legible embossing and their reply was, "I'm sorry, we don't see the problem." They didn't take into account they were looking at a photographed ZOOMED IN on their screen, as opposed to a 100% in-person embossing 18"-24" inches away from a face. Nor did they take into account a first-time customer (who had planned to purchase similar personalized gifts for multiple other family members) was dissatisfied. Oh, well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This company does not know typography or customer service. Do yourself a favor and shop a company that does. ZERO stars.

He apologized for my bad experience and attributed my bad experience to poor training with the sales associate which includes Store policy, product warranty information and for me loading the chair in my car. He followed with the chair should have been loaded into my car by someone from their warehouse which is across the street. Jamie explained that the restocking fee only applies to the special order of a new office chair and not one they had on hand in their warehouse and said he would refund the rest of my money today. A short while later he called again to say the refund has been issued. It renewed my faith that even a smaller business is concerned with providing good customer service. ****************************************

My property is about 4 acres (they mow about 1 1/2 acres). Every week for almost 30 years without fail Ward Landcare comes to my house and mows and trims my property without any need for me to call them. They begin in April and finish at the end of October. It takes them 15 minutes to finish my lawn with the equipment they have. They are respectful of my gardens, my peony bushes, and my lilac starts. Those are important to me because they were planted by my great-grandmother more than 60 years ago. Susan is open to helping to provide for landscaping needs and has delivered clean topsoil for me for planting.
