Just before we were going on vacation, my wife stepped on her ring (by accident), so we went to the mall to get it fixed. Down in the basement, there is this jewelry repair shop that we found quite by accident. I never knew it was there until the week before I needed it (good timing!) It's associated with Ouro e Hora (Gold & Time), a very nice jewelry store on the main floor of the Manaira Shopping Mall. We dropped off the ring to see if they could straighten it out, along with a piece of silver jewelry to be polished. They told us to come back in an hour. And when we did, the ring was fixed and the silver necklace was shining like when it was brand new. The work they did was very thorough and well-done. The cost was inexpensive.
