While out of town, I needed a late night pie after working all day, so I decided to check out OH Pizza & Brew based on a recommendation from a local. When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). However, I was welcomed in to order by the friendly woman at the counter. She answered a few of my questions and when I asked what her favorite was, she immediately said, "Buckeye Garlic Pizza." I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus. read more

This pizza joint was right across my hotel that I was staying at so it as a convenient place to grab a quick bite. I arrived in the evening to grab some take out and the place was empty . They have an open kitchen concept and staff were super friendly. However, we waited quite a long time for our food. I got a small Hawaiian pizza and it took well over 25 minutes for it to be done, especially when there were no other patrons in the restaurant. After getting the pizza the staff were so nice to also give us some ice water. I think I'd give the pizza itself a 3/5 mostly because it was very salty and greasy. However, I did enjoy that there were lots of pineapples on the pizza along with the crispy crust. Having the pizza the next day cold was also okay. Would be interested to know how their other food items are as their menu was pretty big. Staff overall was super nice and friendly. This is one of my favorite pizza places in Columbus! They also have some amazing appetizers. Their wings and their cheesesteak rolls are amazing. The pepperoni rolls are equally as good! I like to try a different pizza each time and every pizza specialty that I have tried did not disappoint! I don't recommend this place. It's crumbling by the day. Not to mention I asked for chicken wings and received chicken tenders and containers of sweet chili sauce. I guess Thai chili wings don't exist here anymore. The worst part was there were 5 employees and my order said 1:00pm it would be ready. I waited in the lobby the entire time because I had no choice to order online while I was waiting in line to order because the girl at the register was on the phone with a customer, while "trying" to help another in person. She didn't get any help. I eventually waited until 1:16-1:19pm to received my food. While all this happened two other gentlemen were waiting on pizza for their firm and didn't receive their last pizza and wanted to be compensated. Part of me wanted to ask for my compensation considering I order at 12:38pm. I missed my entire break and was late coming back in office. I ended up getting sent home because of a slow day and opened my food to this crap. I should have checked it there however I was already agitated and just wanted to leave. Never again am I coming back. The tip I left was not deserved, additionally I picked up and didn't do delivery so the tip was not necessary truthfully. I was tired last night, and since this was my first time ordering a gluten-free pizza from OH Pizza & Brew online, I was relieved of how easy it was to order through Yelp. That's itself is a miracle as I'm not really technical savvy. Menu was easy to read and navigate with clear detailed photos of which toppings to choose from. They followed my instructions of which extra toppings I wanted - but they burnt the crust a little bit. The salami, and Italian sausages were great. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was that the dough was too doughy - not cooked throughly apparently. The driver promptly delivered my warm pizza at the parking lot. This place was jammin! We were actually concerned that they would be on a wait based on how many cars/people were outside, though we ended up being sat when we came in. The menu is huge and they had quite a bit of good sounding items. The place seems a lot bigger on the outside than the inside, but the ambience is nice. Spacious seating and plenty of TVs. My husband ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and he said they were delicious. My daughter got the kid's pizza and ate every bite. I ordered the chicken coop wrap and it was good, but was missing some of the ingredients that it said it came with (cheese and onion). The wrap barely had any chicken in it with the majority being lettuce. I actually was fine with that, but just a heads up for those who love their meat! Though the sauce placement was lousy all around on the pizza. Some slices barely had any while others had way too much. Wings were nice and crispy. Weirdest thing were the onion rings. We ordered a 14" with 1/2 old world pepperoni and 1/2 mushroom for carryout from the downtown Columbus location. Both sides were WAY too salty. So much so that we each had two slices and then threw out the other half of the pizza. Adding too much salt simply ruined what was otherwise a well executed pie. Rough visit. It was our first time and probably our last. Needed a spot for a semi quick lunch. (Spoiler alert, this was not it) Now, credit to the staff- when we arrived they were telling customers that there was no server so they were doing carry out only. Alright. However that should've been a sign that we were in for a bad time. 10 minutes after our order my husband went back up to get our drinks, which he was handed- just 20oz Pepsi bottles. 30 minutes later, no sign of food. One of our 3 items was a salad that was clearly pre packaged. We actually had to leave without getting food so we could make it to our show on time. Husband waited a few minutes longer than me and got his sandwich and my cheese sticks, which we both ate outside of the theatre and felt sick after shoveling it in. Pros: the food was decent. The salad was not, but cheese sticks were good and his sandwich supposedly was. Restrooms were clean. No "public restroom" but we were paying customers. Oh we paid, that's for sure. For lunch I mostly had my Sierra Mist and some M&Ms from the concession stand at the theatre. On a recent weekday evening, a colleague and I were craving pizza in a big way.  We used the Yelp app to locate OH Pizza and then proceeded there post-haste to indulge our cravings right after work - I'm SOOO glad we did! As we walked in the door we were greeted by a smiling staffer, then seated promptly and given menus.  Our waitress was very friendly and attentive - she took our drink orders immediately and gave us some excellent recommendations!  We ended up ordering an individual pizza for each of us and some potato skins to share. Tip: When our food came it turned out that the portion sizes are postively Ginormous!  We could easily have shared one of the individual sized pizzas, but I'm glad we didn't because they're so good we finished both of them :-) The pizzas looked and smelled so good we decided to share them to maximize the variety.  We ordered a Chicken Coop and a cheese pizza.  Both pies were delicious, with a nicely shaped, very tasty, and wonderfully cooked crust, but the star of the show was unquestionably the Chicken Coop.  It's made with white sauce, and topped with bacon, red onion, baby spinach and (slightly) blackened chicken; the flavors all blend together into a wonderfully harmonious taste experience; there's no question about either one of us ordering another one of these the next time we come to visit! Over and above the pizzas, the potato skins were flavorful and cheesy, with just the right amount of bacon on top - completely delicious :-) My bottom line: This is a great place to head for when you're hungry and craving some outstanding pizza - highly recommended! read more

Went here because it was late and across the street from the hotel. Service was very slow (Nisha). Took 10 minutes for her to come to our table. We ordered our food (1 small pizza and 5 wings) immediately, a couple waters and a cocktail. Took another ten minutes to receive the drinks. 50 minutes later we received our underwhelming pizza. Was soggy and the entire pizza bottom and top was drenched in the garlic butter sauce 2 outta ten. She said the wings would be right out but we were done with our pizza before they got there. Totally over an hour wait for food when no one was in the restaurant and the table next to us received their food fifteen minutes after ordering. We did not receive any apology or any type of discount. Bad service below average food I do not recommend unless you are wayyy drunk. Also the kitchen loooks dirty. Lack of communication was evident We were going to the theater and carry out not an option but they said we could order at counter and eat at a table. There was slimy liquidy stuff that looked gross - maybe garlic sauce ???. Decent taste although crust a touch too bready for me as I prefer a more yeasty dough. Yelp check in gave me a complimentary funnel cake that I had to ask 3 people about . Never got to enjoy the funnel cake - I went up after half an hour and they said still making. Ordered some traditional wings, 5 each for me and 5 for my man. I got Japanese Teriyaki and my man got Sweaty Neck (hot buffalo). I can tell you that it smells amazing. I cannot wait for the wings to arrive. Amazing...didn't have any problem eating them all. Teriyaki was great, not too much sauce or f li flavor and not too hot. I have ordered from OH pizza before , but tonight was terrible. I ordered my pizza at 11:10 and was told I would get it at approximately 1:04, but it was at least 30 minutes after that. I ordered a medium pepperoni and mushroom pizza and mushroom with peppercorn ranch. My food was cold when I received it. The pizza ended up getting thrown away. The crust was black and cold. My mushrooms were soggy and cold. Also there was no peppercorn ranch included. I know you can do better than this! This is not the service and quality I normally receive. Had I not already had food delivered from you before you would have received a 1 or 2 star rating. For what I paid and for how long I had to wait it was not worth it. We drove overnight to Columbus to Syracuse. Our plan was to pick up a car at 9 AM and be back home by early evening. Cut to 6 PM, it's been the worst day possible and we're still in Columbus. We haven't slept or eaten in way too long, and now we had to get a hotel, since there was no way we'd survive driving back. We got settled in at our hotel and started looking for places to order food from. It was a Saturday night in a reasonably sized city, so we figured our options would be at least Syracuse or better. An immediate sense of panic set in around 8:30 PM when we realized any of the places that had caught our attention were closing or closed already. Even regular pizzerias and bar kitchens were closed. Cue Oh Pizza! What an entrance. Raving reviews, great looking food, open until 2 AM. I forget whether they delivered, but at that point we just ordered our food and drove to get it before they changed their mind. We ordered the "Old World" pasta, the Philly Sub, and of course the "Bypass Pizza". The whole order came to $35.50, which is pretty good for us on a pizza order. I feel like there was a reason we didn't get the wings that people also rave about. I think we were really tight on money. We opened the Philly and it looked so small, we thought we'd been had. Then we both took one bite each and agreed this is one of the best Philly's we've ever eaten. The tender, thicker cut meat, the thick layer of baked seasoned mozzarella cheese, the soft, light bread that's just the right crisp on the outside. We'll never doubt you again. The Old World pasta was an amazing choice. We forgot to ask for silverware and our hotel room had none that we could find. So we ate it with our hands without a second thought and used a lot of napkins. Pepperoni, Sausage, green peppers, and that same beautifully baked mozzarella on top. There was already no way we were going to bed without heartburn, so we just kind of went for it. The Bypass Pizza was a safe and easy choice. We got a 10" and loved how it was still cut into 8 little slices. The only way I could describe the pizza is like Pizza Hut for people who don't hate themselves. It's got the same firmness and general taste and feel of Pizza Hut, but the freshness of a pizza that wasn't squirted into a mold and then trucked to the location to be Pammed and baked. I'm kind of weird about eating cold leftover pizza, but eating the rest on the drive home was some of my favorite leftover pizza ever. Eating here was the only beacon of light we had on this god awful trip, literally the only thing that went right. I'm a little sad that this was just a one time fling, but if something should ever come up where I MUST return to or even pass through Columbus, I'm getting wings and another Philly, on top of god knows what else. I have heard other people tried OH Pizza and Brew, but I have not tried it until now. Despite the restaurant is carryout only, but I was able to sit and eat my pizza. The cashier Joy and were wonderful in taking great care of me. They had to convert from dine-in to carryout due to COVID-19. I got me The Founder pizza with pizza sauce, Pepperoni, Sausage, Mild Pepper, mozzarella, and the star of the pizza is the Portabella Mushrooms. They have regular mushrooms, but the Portabella Mushrooms are the real stars of the pizza with Diet Pepsi to wash it down. The crust was not too thin or too thick, it was just right. Also, I recommended them to one of the supervisors at my job for delivery because they do their own delivery of using Doordash, Slice, and third party delivery services. People are work loved OH Pizza and Brew and the same supervisor thanked me for the recommendation. I will be checking other OH Pizza places and I thank Joy and her staff at OH Pizza and Brew for taking care of me and making the best pizza in Ohio. read more

Don't recommend. I ordered a medium pizza and cheese sticks for delivery. The wait was almost 2 hours (originally told 45 minutes.). The pizza was not good. Crust was very hard, barely any sauce on the pizza and the cheese tasted like plastic. The cheese sticks were atrocious. You could throw one of them and break a window. Barely any cheese in them and horrible seasoning. I'd steer as clear from here as possible. I tried to call twice to discuss the issues but couldn't even get anyone to acknowledge my call while I waited on hold. Ugh! It pains me to write this negative review - especially after assuming that this was going to be a great pizza place after reading many of the 5-star reviews listed here. We arrived around dinner time a couple of Sundays ago. There was no host nor were we greeted by any of the staff standing behind the booths (in the open kitchen). The dining room is small. With COVID restrictions, there's only three booths that can be seated. We took the third and last booth available. The table was covered with dirty napkins and straw wrappers, the seats were covered in marinara sauce, and the floor was covered with plastic utensils. Not a good first impression. We waited for a few minutes before our server for the evening came over and wiped the seats and table down. Even after cleaning the table, the table was still sticky. Out of the 8 TVs that were hung, only 3 of the TVs were on. None were playing Sunday football. This was disappointing as I had called several hours earlier to ensure that football would be on as my husband can't live without his Sunday football. It took over 30 minutes for our server to find a football game on one of the TVs. We gave up trying to find others. It seemed that our server was the only server since she was the only one that we saw servicing the tables. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, garlic bread with cheese, plain boneless wings, honey BBQ boneless wings, garlic Parmesan wings, a medium I-670 pizza, and two funnel cakes. Please see my notes on the food items below. Our plates were dirty. Personally, I feel that the pizza is overpriced. $20 for a 14" pizza? No thank you. Mozzarella sticks - Hot and fresh.
