I had the fire chicken, son had the beef spareribs, and GF had the chicken sampler. Their portions are quite large. Probably why most Hawaiians are as big around as they are tall. I loved the fire chicken, and was surprised at how spicy it was. Macaroni salad is not really worth eating as far as I'm concerned, but they include it as a side. They provide a big chunk of rice, and some steamed cabbage as further sides. There isn't really any sort of ambience to the place. It's a lunch place with a few posters. Service was friendly, especially considering we were in there right before closing. My son has tons of Pacific Islanders for friends(he plays competitive volleyball) and loves Hawaiian food. He enjoyed it as well. I will definitely go back, especially for a fairly priced meal, which is welcome these days for sure. read more

Also, 4 (a little sarcasm) pieces of meat with a boatload of rice or Mac these days just isn't cutting it for me personally. It has gotten worse each time I visit trying to give them "1 more chance". Absolutely the worst food in Prescott. I'm just eliminating restaurant after restaurant. Who is up on health change and who is not. Tons of people buy this crap it was busy. Wow. Fake flavor. Bad tuff beef. Cheep fried chicken. Sauces full of Corn syrup. Again fake food. Not good for you at all. The worst. No talent or even to try to change the menu with all the info of bad food in America. . Get with the health program. All you lousy restaurants will go under. Please close the doors. The food is quick and good. It's an order-at-the-counter kind of place, so pretty casual, and tasty. I was trying to find out if they had any gluten-free options, they do not. I really appreciated how honest they were up front, I was told immediately that it was not a good place for that, even for people who are sensitive vs celiac. read more

Definitely a place i recommend. This is a great tasting meal at a great price. These portions are generous. We got the mini meal with teriyaki chicken. The chicken is fresh and cooked to perfection. We also got an order of crab rangoons that were loaded with filling. Delicious! The people there are so wholesome we really felt welcome. The restaurant itself is very clean. I like this place, the food is very delicious compared to the Hawaiian BBQ place in Flagstaff, service is average, nothing special, I would say there is a good amount of seating, my only con is I have FOUND HAIR(NO ITS NOT MINE) the 2x I've recently ordered from this place. We ordered two Aloha Plates....both with Fire Island chicken. One with grilled chicken and the other with Kalua pork. It smelled weird in the shop, they were cooking but it didn't smell like it. Had a really strange that I can not describe. We ordered in, but the smell was getting to us so we asked for it to go. As we got home, we began to eat. The grilled chicken tasted a little off and chewy, but I dipped it in teriyaki sauce to mask the flavor. After 15 minutes I started sweating, and my mouth got watery, (signs of vomitation to follow). I was in the restroom all night getting sick. Then my husband had to use the restroom. He did not vomit...but it came out the other end. We ate here recently while visiting family. The restaurant is a cute place with street parking nearby. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of condiments, plastic ware and napkins. We had the Hawaiian BBQ chicken and chicken katsu. Both were very tasty and the portions were large. Family member had the seafood platter and he enjoyed it very much. I hate writing this review because Ohana is one of my favorite places. Today was awful first I order a bbq plate make it a combo and ask for the Rangoons for the side the cashier was nice you can tell she was learning she asks the young girl how to do it. The girl then tells me Rangoons aren't an option I say then why is it an option on the menu. She then points at the menu telling me see so my husband points to where we see it's an option and she said oh I guess it is. Then my husband orders and says make it a combo the cashier is getting ready to put it in the girl turns around and says only one combo per transaction I said he can't have a combo because I have one she says that's the rules I said that's dumb what if I don't want to share my drink she turns around and says the manager is really into corporate greed she also wants to start charging people for the water cups. I told the cashier I'm sorry we're going somewhere else to spend our money and she said I totally understand and don't blame you. read more

What has changed? I am a frequent customer. Tonight at dinner time - order was wrong, music was loud rap music, chairs were upside down on the tables, and the mop bucket was left out when not being used. The food was still pretty good. We may continue to come here, but will plan to have alternative options if we plan to dine in. read more

As some one for the island of oahu this place is a scam for the prices they sell things like the kalbi (thing was tough like rubber), or the chicken katsu (WHY DOES THE CHICKEN TASTE SO BLAND AND WHY IS IT SO OILY) its insanity for the quality they give it to you at. I've been there twice. The first time, the people were really friendly/happy and the food was good. The second time the woman at the counter was not friendly. UNFRIENDLY in fact. She acted like she didn't want to take my order or "deal with me" at all. I may try it again, but if they keep that tall, slender unfriendly girl with long brownish hair at the counter, that's enough to cause me to go elsewhere. Had a really good lunch at Ohana Hawaiian BBQ. The service was fantastic. We were greeted the minute we walked in and since it was our first time, the server had no problem going over the menu and talking about fan favorites. We ended up ordering two of the combo plates, the Hawaiian barbecue chicken and beef and the other chicken and beef combo with short ribs both plates were delicious. Rice was well cooked macaroni salad was delicious. And both the proteins were cooked perfectly. I think it's a really nice addition to our community. I've been to Hawaii, eaten at plenty roadside places. I've never had such fatty, greasy chicken. The side salad wad a few pieces of boiled cabbage. Everything is served in Styrofoam containers with plastic utensils, good luck cutting up your food! Been there twice, seems poorly managed. Staff was not helpful, even when it was quiet. I don't expect they will be around long, for good Hawaiian, go to Prescott Valley. If you are concerned about the environment, look at the amount of trash they create, saves hiring a dishwasher I guess. read more
