The pain wasn't just on the ankle, but went up the leg towards the knee. The pain was also along the leg when I stood motionless. My physiotherapist was Micheal Varghese. At the first meeting we discussed what he would do to help me to recover. He surprised me because he didn't charge me for his time. It was unusual because my wife previously, at the same place, had been charged $115.00 for her first visit by another physiotherapist. For me it was a good sign, not for the money, I have an insurance, but mainly he showed that he had some interest on me as a patient. The treatment consisted mainly on manual massage, and a combination of nerves stimulation with the addition of heat pads. Micheal as well recommended at each session different exercises to practice at home. I went through 15 sessions, and as a result I can presently walk several hours without discomfort. The pain along the leg as mainly subsided, although it still comes on once in a while, but with much less intensity. My conclusion is that Micheal gave me a good feeling due to his experience. He answered any question I had, and seemed to be interested in my recovery. I would really recommend him if you ever need some physiotherapy. I would also like to mention that the place is kept clean, and that the receptionist,. Elisabeth, is a very friendly and professional person who does a good job at welcoming you, keeping you informed of your next session by email, and keeping your file updated. I was treated by Chris Henderson, a registered physiotherapist and one of the owners, and was impressed with how quickly my shoulder improved.
