Extremely cozy cafe local to Frankfurt, had a pleasant Sunday morning experience! Many might dislike how small it is, but I found it quite accommodating, especially with a beautiful patio in a quiet, residential neighborhood of Frankfurt. The staff was extremely friendly. The barista was fluent in multiple languages, and was not off-put by using them. She very clearly knew what she was doing around coffee, which is always nice to see. The staff communicated very well overall, and added to the experience. The baked goods were clearly fresh; with all of the croissants I ate while in Germany, this was the best I could find! Copying and pasting this from an article I wrote in March regarding my favorite coffee spots in FFM: This stunning cafe, eatery, and shop is located across the river from the main part of Frankfurt in charming Sachsenhausen. It took me a while to get here as I live pretty much on the very opposite side of the city, but I'm so glad I finally got to check it out (after so many raving reviews from fellow Frankfurters)! They have flawless customer service and the coffee is completely on-point. Their flat white is pure perfection and I can't wait to make it back to try some of their baked goods (and do some shopping). They offer two coffees- one of their own and one from Man Versus Machine, a Munich-based roastery (always subject to change so check oheim's Facebook page for details). Oheim is located on a peaceful street and has seating both inside and outside. It doesn't hold a great number of customers which adds to the quaint ambiance and allows the customers to interact with the staff. Nothing irks me than an overly packed place where you can't relax and have to wait thirty minutes for tables to be cleaned. This place is literally the polar opposite of that and feels like it could easily become my 'home away from home'. They also offer to-go coffee in environmentally friendly and sustainable cups. I'm not a huge fan of the term 'concept shop' because it can be so vague, but oheim is, to a degree, just that. You can buy some of the coolest goods here, from craft gin to laptop sleeves to specialty tea and accessories. I can't think of any other place in Frankfurt where you can sip on a smooth coffee and do a little shopping at the same time. They also offer specialty drinks for patrons who are not coffee enthusiasts. Owners Julia and Christian really offer a little slice of heaven in the often chaotic city of Frankfurt. read more

Love this little cafe in the residential area which I wouldn't have found if my Airbnb host did not recommend it to me!! The interior is very cute and cozy though it's small. It is definitely a spot for locals to chill alone or with a friend, so I would not come here with a big group. There is one big table outside though. The barista is nice, and he kindly explained what kind of pastries they had. Pastries are good too, so get something if you have any space in your tummy! Cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately I was only visiting Frankfurt for a few days... I'm going to miss this cafe a lot! read more

Very cute coffee shop in Sachsenhausen. Super cozy with the friendliest staff. Nice communal table and chairs all around the place with tiny tables. The cheesecakes are very good, neither too rich nor too sweet. Cute little shop as well. There is free WiFi but would not recommend to work here. Not really the best place for that. Well this place is a must for those looking for an excellent coffee and a barista that knows what he's doing. We had the pourover coffee (Chemex) and were told the "Kaffee 2" option was the best - so couldn't turn down a professional recommendation! My friend also tried a shot of espresso, which was also great. There is little seating but a large community table, which was a fun opportunity to practice our meager German. The service was also friendly and accomodating. My friend came from the airport about 2 hours before me with luggage. The staff let him store his luggage and hang out in this busy and small place without question. Five stars for amazing coffee, solid coffee know how and recommendations, and friendly and accommodating service! Will definitely seek this place out in the future! read more

Pretty place (but unfortunately very small) to drink coffee and eat a cake or quiche. And you can also do some shopping there too. Coffee was nice, bacon quiche delicios. Interior is pretty.
