Hired Ohio Junk Force to clear out the apt of my best friend's brother who passed away suddenly. Wonderful experience from start to finish. Shawna, the office mgr., was friendly and super helpful, even accommodating my "allergy to mornings" in giving us an afternoon appointment the day after I called for info. On meeting manager Nick there, all the piles of clutter in every room and closet didn't even phase him, assuring us they'd be able to fit it all into a single load. When my greatly relieved friend asked how soon the clear-out could be done, Nick called the office and once again they were able to give us an afternoon appt just 2 days later despite what I'm sure must be a very busy schedule. Nick returned with Josh that day and both did a fantastic job, getting the entire place cleared out in just a couple hours, yet taking time to be not only friendly but offering sincere condolences and sympathy to my friend when she broke down in her grief. I called Ohio Junk Force on Thursday and found they worked Saturdays so I made an appointment for Saturday at 9:00 AM. I received a call 30 minutes before they arrived notifying me they were on their way. Johnnie and Gary jumped out of the truck and introduced themselves. They were both very friendly and immediately asked what I needed removed. I needed my garage cleaned out and I was worried that I didn't give myself time to sort through what I was keeping from what was junk. I had no reason to be concerned, though. I just pointed to what needed to go and they got it loaded in the truck. It was so easy and so fast! They got a 1/2 load in the truck and they were gone in less than 1/2 hour! This was not easy work. We needed a LOT of household junk hauled away after a housemate moved out. Junk Force responded really quickly to our request for a quote and gave us a competitive price. They were available to come out same day, but we scheduled a few days out so we could gather everything. They arrived a little early on the day, and Matt and Nathan were super nice and very professional. They got everything cleared out really fast, even considering they had to cut apart a crappy old couch to get it up from our basement. They were very careful not to damage our walls, and were just generally cool guys. They weren't even phased by our sweet but very LOUD and excitable dogs. We needed a piano moved out of our house and Shawna gave us a very prompt and helpful couple of quotes via email based on the pictures we provided. Scheduling over emails with them was incredibly easy and the quotes provided were more affordable than we expected. The communication & courtesy call about arrival etc was a nice touch. When they arrived they were very mindful of our floors with boards and a dolly. Our piano was super heavy, I'm still so impressed they turned it upright on its side with such ease to remove. My husband and I had an awful time trying to get rid of large tube TVs. They were too large for Best Buy, curbside pick up or the recycling center. Two polite, considerate and mannerly young men got those items up from our basement and in the garage. In addition they took a tread mill and a pull out sofa. They never swore or yelled at each other, in spite of the difficulty of the job. They were on time and the charges were well worth the work they did. We have used Ohio Junk Force multiple times to clear a condo we were stuck with due to the passing of my wife's sister. Unfortunately she was a hoarder. We got their help with four trucks full of unwanted debris. Matt and his brother Nick were there in full or part of all the dumpsters. Use this service twice and both time was so very pleased with the whole process. When I called to order the service the office staff was super polite and informed me of everything.
