When a medical office is difficult to reach before you are even seen, that raises serious concerns about how responsive they will be once you are actually under their care. After receiving no confirmation, I contacted the office. When I did not receive a confirmation of the cancellation, I called a second time and left a voicemail message canceling my appointment a second time. Despite that, I was later billed as a "no show", which is unacceptable. If the office fails to respond, fails to properly confirm an appointment, and then fails to process a cancellation, the patient should not be penalized for that breakdown. I cannot speak to the doctor's medical care because I never made it that far. But I can speak to the office experience, and it was poor enough that I chose not to proceed. For anyone dealing with pain, the last thing you need is added stress, unclear communication, and billing issues before care has even begun. This experience left me with the impression that the practice is more focused on collecting fees than making patients feel heard, supported, and properly cared for.

It's a fairly large facility and I was the only patient there when I arrived. After reading this, you'll understand why. First thing they wanted was payment in advance! Who does that??? Finally settled for (unsigned) card swipe. After a sort of pre-interview with an assistant, Dr. Kwo Wei David Ho came in and asked briefly about my chronic pain issues. He seemed more concerned about what secondary insurance plans I had than anything else. I told him what the issues were and that I had been successfully managing my pain levels with very low dose Lyrica and Valium for decades, as prescribed by all of my previous physicians. When I switched to Medicare at age 65 I lost my previous doctor so I was referred here. Simple, right? Oh no! While the doctor did offer to give me literally twice as many Lyrica as I had been taking, he outright refused to prescribe any Valium at all. It's worth mentioning that I only take 12 pills a month and no other medications. I asked him for a medical reason for not prescribing valium and he refused to provide one. All he said was he would ONLY prescribe valium if I agreed to painful, costly, risky and (per my research) useless spinal injection treatments. So there it is! They lure you in thinking you'll be treated for chronic pain and instead try to basically extort you into enduring costly, painful and potentially destructive treatments just to get the meds you actually need. This is a sickening case of profit and greed at the expense of patient health and well being. They prey upon the elderly and infirm to hawk their costly treatments and then deny them the meds they need if they refuse. I told them not to run my card for services not rendered and I will immediately instruct my bank to issue a chargeback if they do. I am also notifying Medicare that any charges from this clinic are fraudulent as services were not rendered, at all. If anything, they should pay me for wasting my time! I highly encourage anyone with chronic pain to avoid this shady practice like the plague!

I absolutely recommend the neurologist side, but NEVER go to her. i am absolutely appalled by the way i was treated by her and the childish behavior and comments she chose to unprofessionally spoke towards me. 0 stars actually -10 stars for what SHE chose to say about me with a literal doctors confirmation that i was sober. im extremely sad and angry still 6 months later than i cannot see them anymore because of being accused and mistreated by her. on another note: intensive care therapy treatment for ONE week costed me $10,000 so imagine the TWO weeks to be treated for my 7 different diagnoses i was given all at once in august that means i spent $20,000 for the neurology team to help me get better results... one appointment with mrs. zilinsky on the psychological side costed me $350-425 and i saw her twice. unbelievable it's almost like she just wanted my money instead of being the role she played being a "professional" before she kicked me out and still required me to pay for the appointment that i barely was 15 minutes into. Wholesale refusal of care based on one diagnosis (which is in and of itself neurology-related) is discriminatory and unacceptable. The people making decisions around who to see and who to shut out should be ashamed of themselves. It's difficult enough to deal with chronic illnesses without medical gatekeeping. Disgusting.
