I was literally on the table when he noticed an infection in my groin area. When I questioned him, he threw up his hands and said "surgery is off!" and left the room. I went to see my dermatologist 2 days later. She rolled her eyes & said he should know better! I went to see him 3 times following that non-surgery. Not once did he tell me he wouldn't do the surgery ever! He also never looked at the infection until I called him on that! He also accused me of bullying him into doing the surgery. I laughed! I'm only 5'2 with a tiny size 6 shoe. His surgical report at the hospital stated he would do the surgery once the infection cleared. After 3 appointments of his bull s***, I left his office. He has that air about him and a quirky smirk that says " he thinks he's the greatest doctor EVER" He's not. He's just an asshole. Within 5 days, I had a new doctor with an excellent reputation, and a new surgery date!

Here is where it gets strange. So im like ok, lets try this, since you book hourly appointments almost all day can I book a morning appt and then an afternoon appt? Again this power hungry manager tells me no. Im not using insurance, im paying in cash. So I ask you what is the problem except that this manager wanted to exhibit authority over me. Its not a health risk, so their is absolutely no reason to not do this. Called Stephanie the RGM who could not give me a reasonable explanation either. Why in the world could I not book 2 appointments in one day? Why couldnt my requests be granted? So instead they had me drive almost 40 mins out of my way to bayville because they wanted to cater to the tyrant of a office manager at the Brick office. So do yourself a favor folks, dont go here. Their are way better places out there that will still go out of their way for their customers. The OM in Brick needs to be fired or coached. Everyone I spoke to at Thompsons said, " if it was me I would do it for you." They were as confused as I was. So do yourself a favor, steer clear of Thompson and find a place that isnt bottom line driven and still cares about its customers.

I came across Thompson healthcare and saw that they provided chiropractic care and called them. I spoke with a girl she said they had time for me to come in. I was crying and a severe pain she said it would be $150. I said no problem. I grabbed the money and got to my car and drove over there from Whiting about a 15 minute drive when I got there she wanted $150 payment so I go to hand her the cash and she said we dont take cash So I had to then go to Wawa down the street and purchase 2 visa cards with the $150. When I finally got in my car, the office manager from Thomason Healthcare called and said they weren't going to be able to help me. WHAAAAT? Are you kidding me? So now I am like beside myself I don't know what to do crying hysterically the pain was so severe and i knew a chiropractor could help me. I then i called the Fork it River Chiropractic Center and spoke with Dr. John. He told me to come right in. When I got there he immediately took me into a room and began treatment. The compassion he showed me was incredible. Helping a human being to feel better. Putting me first. I walked out of there without any tears and a smile on my face. Every single thing I have suffered from....neck, hip, knee, shoulder.....fixed by Dr Tom! At 54 I began working with a personal trainer who sang his praises and referred to him as 'incredible'. I kept delaying a consult, because I had never been to a chiropractor and was a bit fearful of manipulations and all that jazz. I am so glad that I was eventually in pain sufficient to motivate me to make an appointment. His incredibly thorough questioning and examination of my muscles/joints/movement/strength helps inform his diagnosis...and within several appointments I am literally pain-free....for weeks or months. I have had him fit me for orthotics in my sneakers twice and they have been absolute game-changers. They arrived and fit perfectly and have changed my gait so that I never have hip pain anymore. I am now able to walk 2 miles a day with no discomfort. Dr Jones is a great educator, an incredible chiropractor/physical therapist/ physiologist wrapped up in one person-- and a professional, nice and kind person, to boot. When I got to the Manasquan office, I was told that my appointment was actually for 7/7, not 7/9. I had called repeatedly over the course of the month to find out if I could come in sooner or if someone else could give me the shot as I was in a lot of discomfort. No on both counts.
