The tech "forgot" to change my oil filter but coincidentally did not forget to reach down and clean up the old oil filter with a damp rag to make it look new. He then showed me my dipstick with oil that looked dirty and AND had been over-filled. Dishonesty and incompetence is not a good combination. BTW, pro-tip. They know about the sharpie mark on the oil filter trick. Instead, tap the oil filter with a wrench just hard enough to put a small dent in it before you take your vehicle in. Sam and the crew are always helpful, and are reasonably priced with their services, as well as knowledgeable.
