I definitely will not check out any new places without reading reviews first. I saw it and wondered why the area needed a 3rd sports bar and thought I would check it out. Was later on a Sunday night. I seriously wondered when the male part of a couple going in was being frisked but thought hmmmmm. Thought it was more weird that there was another security person when I walked in but who am I to judge...right? First thing I noticed was how incredibly LOUD it is. It was also alot darker inside than I was used. It wZ so loud I had to yell when asking if there was a seat at the bar. Please note that i was totally welcomed by the staff and encouraged to find a seat. I still honestly had no freaking clue.... I popped up on my stool...ordered a coke and some water and finallllllly noticed...waitresses are wearing thongs and bras. I can not personally vouch there was actually a piece of material between the cheeks but I assumed there was... these ladies were working their beautiful and totally bare butts off. At this point I started to realize I may have misunderstood that this sports cantina was not really geared for a female sports fan visiting by herself! That said,, the guy next to me was sweet. When I mentioned I may be in over my head he reassured me I was safe. Told me the food wasn't bad either lmao. Lots of beautiful women working hard. No unaccompanied women tho. Wondered if the guys that smiled and winked at me thought I was there for the view as well. Then I decided it didn't matter if they did assume that lolol. I tried hard to stay and order food but then i realized it just wasn't the view I preferred with dinner so paid for my soda with a good tip and wished the ladies and gents a good night. (Why stay just to prove a titty/a** bar didn't bother me, ya know) To each his or her own. I would however recommend a little more clarification at the door about the type of establishment and maybe turn down the sound...it was brutal. For the nice ladies who served me and the gents that smiled or winked....thank you. I think the whole encounter was God's way of reminding me to keep my sense of humor close by. Thank you for the laugh at the places I find myself in. The one star is just because it's not my kindda place. I really disliked this restaurant for many reasons. 1. Got search and frisked by a security guard outside the door who mistaken my car keys for a knife. 2. The music was too loud I had to yell over the music or get closer to my friend to have a conversation (it's a restaurant not a night club) 3. none of beers on the menu (on tap) were available I will not be referring anyone to this restaurant or ever be coming back get rid of the security turn down the music a little and maybe I'll give you another chance. My first time here, Fernando at the bar helped me with any questions I had and always made sure my drinks were good and taken care of. The man was doing the job of three people and it was highly appreciated. Definitely deserves a raise! The nachos were amazing as well! We've been here a variety of times over the past year. The first few times the beer was ice cold. This time, not so much. A year ago the ambiance was fun, sporty and music was not deafening. Although there was no notice anywhere and when we showed up one evening there was a cover charge because they were showing a fight...which it didn't look like many people were watching. Today, we had to ask for an AZ Cats basketball game to be turned on (they were oblivious to all of the UA shirts in the bar). Almost in retaliation, ALL but 6 TVs were turned to Latin music and turned up so loud the person beside you had to shout to be heard. Service is ok. Any female can attest that there is always at least one server in the restroom on her phone. The gals never wash their hands before leaving. The managers obviously don't care, because there's one sitting at a booth working and eating where gals go to grab food between serving and restroom stops. Wish I had checked reviews prior to eating here. All the tables are high tops. This is for drinks! Not for "seasoned" adults. Not for children. Has the feel of being in Mexico without the ocean. Service was positively INCREDIBLE, as we received smiles and good hospitality. The employees are constantly checking on you, even if they aren't your assigned hostess/waiter/waitress! Food is mediocre, as it is fresh, but more Americanized than Mexican. The menu is appealing, but the food is more clean/healthy than it is greasy (which I APPRECIATED, but my parents didn't). Wow, first of all I don't get some of the bad reviews this place has been getting. For starters, know what you're walking into, it's like a Latin Hooters with servers in sexier outfits and with better food. Second, the place just opened so don't expect everything to be perfect right away. Everyone we saw who worked there was attentive, fun-spirited, and very nice. Our food was great (I definitely recommend the lemon pepper chicken sandwich) and the beer was cold and delivered fast...what more do you need? This was my first time ever going to this new establishment and I thought it would be nice to try something new, however.... We were met at the door by the manager who informed us we were not welcome. We explained we were veterans and not an MC and they didn't care they were not going to allow us into their establishment. I'm glad they let us know right away that veterans were not welcome and I believe we should respect that and all veterans and veteran supporters should not go to Ojos Locos. ok I know they just opened, so I gave them some slack. Buy holy hell, a wait of 45 minutes because its shift change, but half the restaurant tables are empty is how it all started. They have 50 girls running around doing god knows what, but they all seem lost of bored. I know the gimmick is to have girls there for us guys but come on, at least provide customer service. Having to wait 15 minutes for refills, when the place isnt even busy is a joke. Food is average to say the least, supposedly they are known for tacos and wings, well both of them came out cold and flavorless. When I heard this would replace hooters for wings, i was excited, let me say that hooters has nothing to worry about these wings suck. If you love sports and can't just watch one this is a place for that. If you love Hispanic music This is that place too. Sportsbar with excellent food, super service and attractive servers. For those of you who have been around for awhile, think Hooters. We had passed it on I-19 and decided to try it for a late lunch. We were seated at a table right away with an almost full bar and dining area. The servers were all young, well trained and very attentive. Full sportsbar menu with a Mexican twist (needed to be downloaded from a QR code at the table) and the food was really outstanding. We had shrimp tacos and the Yucatan Burger. I went to dinner here, realized I never got my card back the next day, I called the restaurant and was told they had my card, to just come pick it up with my ID, I showed up and advised the "area manager " of what happened he proceeded to ask me "are you sure you called I was the only manager on duty today" I was little annoyed at the question but went on with asking if they had my card or not, they "looked" through the safe and area where cards are stored while I waited outside for almost 30 minutes, later comes out and is apologizing to me for not being sure where my card went, very uneasy about the entire situation, he then asked who I spoke to and claims he called the hostess to ask where my card was, overall very unorganized, how do you tell someone you have their card and to come pick it up, and after a 40 minute drive all of a sudden it's no where to be found, sounds very sketchy read more

I had a great experience at this sports bar. The food was excellent. The drinks were great, too. The prices are very reasonable. But above all, the service provided by everyone is beyond expectations. The manager is constantly walking around making sure all customers are receiving a good service. Needless to say, the girls are beautiful and very friendly. Hail Zuniga was our server. She provided some of the best service I have seen. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was super friendly and she made sure we were having a good time. If great service is a must for you, I highly Recommend Ojos Locos. I believe the chips came out a bag because we got the bottom mostly just small pieces. The cup of salsa was heated, first time I've ever had that. Great Sports bar! Not a regular, not even from the area, but excellent service! We went simple and ordered the wings with my brothers and they were great! I will never ever return to this place nor will I be referring anyone to come. We've attempted to try this restaurant twice (45 mins away from home) and each time we were not allowed in. The first time my wife forgot her ID . It was 6:59 & they said we needed that to entire . It was my wife and 6 year old son. Then we tried a second time with family. Got there at 6:50 with little kids and 3 adults and got denied again. They said no kids after 7. We were going to eat dinner. The security guards outside really ruin everything.
