Dr. Craig Carson's practice model has changed medicine forever in Oklahoma. Honestly, his staff know their patients. The visit is NOT a 10 minute in front of the computer screen, it's a big deal every time. They love what they do. Think about how we are as patients, family members or co-workers? We are a tough patient population to take care of. I sit in his waiting room next to people that drive from the panhandle of Oklahoma (yes, there is a Slap Out here). People drive from DALLAS so they don't have to change doctors. What does that tell you? The first visit they tour you through the all-inclusive clinic. In the clinic are: MRI, CAT scan, digital X-ray departments of radiology, lab, pharmacy (Brittany, you're my girl! Worked 3 days to get my drug out of Humera's hands) and Infusion Clinic. They also have a neighbor clinic for people needing just good primary care stuff. ENID! OMGOSH - ENID They are moving close to Dexius Oncology !!!!! Lupus or any Autoimmune disorder is tricky, they are difficult to deal with, (the disease not the people....OK.....maybe we the people can be difficult) Chronic illness. Been trying 25 years to deal with it. Dealing without emotional. physical relief pain or comfort, acknowledgement of my illness, just sort well this sucks. I probably would have died in pain, not much pain but a 4/10. I recently (recent 25 years?) which led to going from not having a Doctor at all 6 doctors went from 0-6 in 5.4 seconds. 6 stinking Doctors!? I Was floundering trying to keep up. Enter Oklahoma Arthritis Center. Things are getting lined out now, my care is organized and I have a PA that is organizing me and my complicated medical needs. Worst experience ever. I came here 10 years ago and equally as bad. I came out with no anwers...terrible visit. The dr just looked me over, glared at my chest and didn't give me any advice or tell me what he thought my symptoms might be. He hust wanted to order barrage of useless tests that i said I already had. Also, 10 years ago same problem. I was in the room with two doctors and one kept putting his hand on my knee. I will never go to this facility again. read more

I see Shawna Seelbach for my Autoimmune Disorders. She is not only good at her job when it comes to figuring out diagnosis but she is also amazing as a person. I came in one day so stressed out and crying. Instead of blowing me off, she took my hand, spoke reassuring words that my emotions and worries were understandable but she also made sure I was ok the next day.
