Not sure about this KOA, unlike others the grounds just don't look and feel like KOA, sites are not level, they just built all without any leveling but the way the terrain was before they developed. It feels like that anyway It needs a remodel and restoration investment to bring it to the KOA standards but it was ok for one night, not much else around to choose from read more

This KOA was well kept, quiet, and spacious. We only spent one night, but were able to get some rest before heading to IL.

We booked this site last minute on our way home from a week long trip. The staff I spoke with to make the reservation was very nice! However, we've stayed at many KOA's and this was by far the worst. The site we got was fine, no complaints there, but the bathrooms were horrific. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Musty, wet, dirty walls, and just gross. My 10 year old son begged me not to have to shower in one. And only 2 of the bathrooms/showers were open for use. Very disappointing to see but hopefully they'll have some renovations done soon. read more

Sweet little spot just to the east of Oklahoma City. You can hear the traffic on I-40 when the winds blows a certain way, but it was not loud at all. The cabin we had was one with a toilet, but no shower -that was less than a two minute walk away. The cabin was clean with a great mattress on both beds. Shower and laundry facilities were also clean and all machines in the laundry were operable. All the staff we talked to were pleasant, with a wave or hello ever time they passed by. P.S. don't forget to drive by the Model T graveyard while at the campground, it's just a few miles away. read more

Not impressed with this KOA. Our site had dog poop on the site. We did not have a dog traveling with us. There isn't enough gravel on the site to off set the dirt meaning not enough gravel on the perimeter. We had to use 3 inches of leveled blocks on one side to be level. Meaning the site is not level side to side. Wouldn't recommend! read more

No stars should be given. Bath House is a joke here. Horrible bathroom shower combo. Total of 7 for the entire campground. What is worse is that only 4 are useable this number includes 1 handicap. The other ones are locked or the codes don't work. Bathroom shower 7 has NO TOLIET PAPER nor a toilet paper holder. Looks as though it was ripped from the wall and site didn't replace it. Females can only shower in this one. Also, found out from a kid that the handicap unit has 2 holes in the door and you can see right through to whoever is in there. YIKES! It's basically a waiting game to use the restroom or take a shower. Sad that this site doesn't fix all combos to make sure all 7 are in a condition for use. To add to this they are dirty. Not well kept at all. They have white bath rugs near the shower that are filthy. Don't see the point of having these. Makes the bathroom look worse. The ventilation is awful. There is basically none except for the little window that you can open. If you like some privacy while using the restroom I suggest closing the window since it is right next to the toilet. The fan is on and does nothing. Now the shower review. Water pressure really bad but some water is better than none. Can't get temp set. It is either very cold or very hot. Smells moldy which could be the shower curtain or the rug noted above. After showering it is so overwhelming stuffy in there I got out of there. Stayed at a KOA yesterday in New Mexico and it was amazing with their bathrooms. Very clean, working order, ventilation as well. read more

Dog owners BEWARE! The park is full of Bur Clover so every time a took my dogs outside they came back covered in burs. I spent the entire week pulling burs out of their fur and between their paw pads so they could walk. read more

Wow.... We LoVeD this KOA for sure!! Check in was great, came late and they still took great care of us! The pool was wonderful and their bathrooms are amazing....they are air conditioned!!! Our door was exactly what we would have picked and will definitely ask for it again! We extended our stay 2 times and both times two different women helped us out! All the staff were great!! Don't want to mess with them though... One smaller woman put these not so great pool attendees in their place... They were smoking and there were lots of kids too!! Common sense was not there, but the staff came out to save the day! It was great!! Their dog park is cute! We will definitely be staying here for our future OKC trips to visit the family that is for sure!!! read more

I've driven across the country in an RV 4 times, staying at KOAs as much as possible. Hands down, this is the best KOA I've ever stayed at. The spaces are clean and level with lots of trees. It really feels like wilderness is around you. The one-person bathrooms are immaculate. The playground is amazing: they have two large structures, one that's great for smaller kids, and one that's great for older kids. The pool was 3'-5' and very clean. I will be on the road for a year and when I book campgrounds I try to find locations that offer more than just full hook ups. This KOA is the 31st campgrounds that I've stayed in so far, so I have a reasonably good point of reference. This may have been the 31st one I've stayed in, but it is without a doubt NUMBER ONE in EVERY detail an RV'r could ask for. The management of this campground has a first class staff. From the moment you check in and throughout your stay, the people here make certain that you are well taken care of. They have a well stocked general store and every building on the grounds are extraordinarily clean and well kept. During this holiday weekend they had activities for kids and their parents as well as a cookout. I've never experienced that in a campground. The grounds are very well kept and the sites are perfect. I cannot say enough really wonderful things about Oklahoma City East KOA except if you're going to be in this area, this is the place to stay. read more

This KOA was clean with large sites (most are pull through). Lots of room for our 35' rv. Dog and kid friendly. The camp store was well stocked. We did have problems connecting with our starlink, but I think it was just the trees blocking our line of sight. read more

Had a reservation for one night at this campground. When the staff realized I had booked a more expensive site than the one I needed they helped put me in a new one. Wow, beautiful, zen, peaceful, and very well maintained KOA just 10-15 miles east on the 40 from Downtown . You feel like you're in the mountains here with its rustic woods setting and charm. The staff here are tremendously friendly and nice, Jeannie was a sweetheart and very informative and helpful. My dog Charlie absolutely loved this campsite and I can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a peaceful place to camp with clean private bathrooms and hot showers. One of the best campsites on our cross country road trip so far!! read more

Super friendly staff! Large dog park with many trees for shade, a lot of the KOAs that I've visited, the dog parks have no shade at all. We rented a cabin for one night, but decided to stay an extra night rather than drive in the rain and the staff was really awesome about this. I enjoyed walking my dog around the KOA, and always felt safe. It's only a few minutes off of I-40, but I didn't find it noisy at all. The tent loop looked nice as well, many trees for shade. Will def stop back on our next roadtrip. read more

This place is a s#*+ hole. I stayed at probably 30 KOAs over the past year and this has to be the biggest misrepresentation I've ever read. This is not a Holiday. No cable, only two out of 5 washer and dryers work and they're not planning on fixing them due to the fact they're in the process of building a new laundry room, but won't be completed until ‍. This is a huge camp ground so that's just blowing my mind, and you also have to share them with the staff that washed the cabin stuff. The pool is also green. read more

This is one of nicest campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Beautifully set in trees, our spot was so level, we did not have to level the RV. The deluxe patio site was just that....deluxe. Had a concrete stamped patio, brick walls, a table and chairs, 2 large Adirondack chairs, an immaculate gas grill just waiting to be used and a wood fire pit. Quiet and peaceful. A nice KOA with a rural feel. The KOA is just 15 minutes from downtown, but it feels like you are much further away due to the large trees around and surrounding the park and since it is so quiet. The park is a mix of back in and pull through sites. All of the sites are gravel and some of the roads are also gravel. We had a pull through site that was just big enough for us if we parked our car parallel to the road in front of our rig. The park has the standard amenities of a small pool, bathroom and shower building with laundry facilities. They have wifi what works well enough to check email, but it slows down significantly during the morning and evenings. Amazing facility, kind and caring staff. Spent numerous nights here over the summer and we kept coming back it was that amazing!!

We brought the whole family (including the dog) in our camper. We have stayed 3 days and have yet to come acroas a staff member that isn't personable and friendly. They offered a little scavenger hunt for the kids and gave them popsicles. So sweet and the kids were thrilled. There are quite a few folks here with pets too so that's nice. The dog park is a small space but safe and they provide poo bags which is nice. If we had once complaint it would be that the sites are very close together. That being said, at night its very quiet and all of the other campers have been goid neighbors. Thanks for having us KOA hope to come back. read more

We've been to a ton of KOA sites across the East Coast with our dog. Now, we're moving to California from Florida and camping at KOA sites along the way. This is BY FAR THE CLEANEST KOA I've ever been to. I absolutely love this one. There's individual bathrooms and they clean everything including the floor mats daily. On our way to California from Alabama wanted to go to Oklahoma City, Brick town but all the camp grounds down town are right on the freeway. We found this gem and couldn't be happier. The host Betty was very nice even after I booked then canceled. Rebooked and then asked to move to another site after arriving. The sites are large, they have a BBQ, patio table and lovely chairs to lounge in the shade. Site number 26 is perfect. You can take an Uber driver to the water taxi for 20.00. read more

Growing up in a camping family, I've been to my fair share of KOA campgrounds in my 29 years. This has by far been the nicest. The two gals in the front who helped us could not have been more kind even if welcoming us into their own homes. They were very helpful and welcoming and even provided us with an OK City attractions map since we are planning on hitting Bricktown Canal tonight for 4th of July fireworks! We got a nice little tent spot which had plenty of shade for the summer heat. Will be back if we ever find ourselves in OK again. Thank you for the hospitality! read more

My family and I did a Griswold type of vacation and traveled Route 66 in Oklahoma. We also wanted to stay somewhere where we normally dont stay so we picked the OKC KOA. When we pulled up in our mini van (the modern day station wagon) we were greeted and went into the office to check in. After we got our keys we went to our cabin. Our cabin was very clean and a great size for 3 people. It has a full kitchen with pots and pans. The KOA camp grounds were very well maintained, clean and very secure. The staff is very helpful and always around to make sure you are comfy and feeling at home. The campgrounds is central located to Downtown OKC, several casinos, Route 66 and the OU campus. We had a great time and we will be back for another vacation adventure. read more

Update have stayed here 4 times now the last one week of Christmas very few actuall rv campers proably 3 or 4 the rest were permanent residence. The park is proably 60 percent capacity with permanent residence and trashy looking campsites. Not a bad park it's I quiet and we'll off the road easy access from interstate. Restrooms are clean and private. Camp sights are fairly level but gravle and sand. Very nice fire pit at each sight. The bad part as at most KOA locations lots of permanent residents not the family friendly vibe they were just a few years ago. Several barking dogs throughout the park in small makeshift fences of the permanent residents. Sure miss the old days at KOA. read more

Wonderful! Bill and his wife were very pleasant when we set up our last minute reservation over the phone. Spots are a good size not cramped at all. We have a camper van, but bigger rigs fit well too. Quiet, clean and calm. Bathrooms were so nice! Great dog friendly spot. No kids running around, screaming or yelling. (Thank god!) Everyone there seemed to respect quite hours and dogs were all well behaved. We stopped just for a quick overnight, but could definitely see staying here for longer when we comeback through. Convenient, welcoming, and extremely clean. Mainly an RV place and very family friendly. The campground was beautiful and easy to navigate. Lots of trees and shade for tent campers - not to mention a close proximity to the showers/bathrooms and main office. Even though the tent sites weren't super large, each is moderately spaced between neighbors. The bathrooms are pretty incredible - modern, well-maintained, and outfitted with electrical outlets in case you need them. Seemed more like a small apartment bathroom versus typical camp stalls. Camped in a tent for one night. Awesome experience - would definitely recommend. Just make sure to bring outlet extension cords since they don't sell them in the shop. read more

The RV sites may or may not be perfectly nice. The tent sites, however, are tiny, overcrowded, and ill-managed. The entire tent loop was basically a gravel parking lot with patches of grass in it. When we arrived, our site was so small that we had to pitch our tent right up against our car in the parking space. (We found out the next morning that the van next to us had interpreted our campsite to be their parking space - what does THAT say about the quality of the grounds? I'll leave that up to you.) The staff are neither friendly nor polite, the only walkway to the bathrooms was right next to our tent, the bathrooms themselves are decidedly unpleasant, and the site was directly adjacent to the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. read more

First time staying here and we were not disappointed! We were only here one night, passing through town. General store/office was nice and had plenty of supplies that you would need when traveling. The lady at the counter was very helpful and thorough in explaining everything, pool was a nice option after a long day of driving. Good location near I-40, but far enough to be quiet. Roads were in rough shape and there are several tight turns. Had a pull through site that was barely long enough for our 5th wheel and truck (parked perpendicular to the RV). The patio sites looked wider and longer but weren't available. read more

This is a beautiful campground. Lots of shade trees. No slab but easy to level. Staff was very friendly and helpful . Faclities were very clean. In fact, a staff member was out painting one of the cabins. We would definitely stay there again without a doubt. read more
