I…read morereally am completely grateful for all the hard work that the vet has put in to keeping my dog alive. When we got my dog we never neutered him; he is a Beagle so we never let him outside off leash since he'd probably run away trying to discover new scents; therefore we never worried about accidental puppies. Unfortunately this led to some growths on his tail and around his rear. Dr. Pytka has now performed four surgeries on him, all at shockingly reasonable prices I might add. His most recent surgery we didn't believe would be possible since he's too nervous to do surgery without anesthetics, but too old to wake up from them. The vet gave him some anti-biotics that shrunk the growth enough to make it possible to do surgery with only local freezing. The most important thing Dr. Pytka has done for us was to diagnose my dog's stroke correctly 18 months ago. When my dog was walking around like he was drunk, we thought it was time to put him down, but she gave him some meds and now he's still around, slightly weak, but just ask active as always. Along with how awesome Dr. Pytka is, their staff in general is really knowledgeable, polite, and clearly love pets, so I absolutely trust them with my dog. They also have really good food selection there. Considering how much food my dog eats, we can tell he really enjoys it, and it's one that is good for his old man stomach so that's a bonus.

We never felt that we were "pushed" into care directions or excessive vaccinations, testing, diagnostics in order to financially benefit a business. (We had experienced this at other vet clinics and emergency hospitals). What we received was solid care and balanced advice, at a reasonable cost. At the end of our pet's life we found compassionate, calm care at this clinic. No pressure to purchase trinkets, memorials or mausoleums! A couple options were available, but no money-making predation when you are vulnerable. When a new pet joins our family this is the only clinic we would consider for our pet's needs.

Dr. Ken and his team were so amazing, I've never felt so much compassion and willingness to help. They caught that our dog had an aggressive form of cancer, I'm so thankful that they were willing to put the extra effort into re-evaluating her and finding an answer instead of an excuse. Who knows how much longer we have with her, but to me they have saved her and given us some more time. I am so grateful for them!
