To get the information into these accounts now requires a download from the IMCU site then an upload into those apps. This is the twenty first century, not the 19th century. What's next green eyeshades and quill pens. Reluctantly, despite the hassle, I guess I will have to move my accounts to a more customer friendly financial entity. Sigh, they had a good thing going.

Attendant professionally greeted and opened the door for me. A bank representative meet me as soon as I walked in, walked me to her office, and adeptly processed my request for a cashier's check. When finished, she led me to the exit. Security was an athletic young man dressed in business casual. He courteously held the door open to let me out. I noticed several well dressed young men in the lobby, on the ready to offer assistance. There were no cattle ropes to guide me to a harried teller. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I had just gotten into town and was going to be taking photos of all the older historic buildings downtown and literally started at First Financial Bank on S. Meridian St. Almost immediately a bank employee inside came to the HUGE front window and flipped me off (see photo). They then called the police and falsely claimed that I had been "banging on the windows" according to the cops. That was a bald faced lie! I never touched the windows, let alone banged on them. I was interested in the building, not the rude employees inside. I was arrested and spent over 24 hours in jail. The prosecutors office I am absolutely going to sue this bank for what they did to me. This cannot be tolerated. It WILL not be tolerated. Govern yourselves accordingly, First Financial Bank.

When I became a student at this university, it did not take long for me to open an account and become a member of this bank. I had no hesitation because of the existing positive reputation of this company. This location, in particular, has staff who are super friendly and helpful. I have had to go in to change my online banking password and PIN number and was served within minutes. The man who helped me was very enthusiastic, and it was clear to me he loved helping guide people in their banking experience. During my most recent visit, I was very pleased with my service. The teller was so welcoming, friendly, and cashed my check in no time! One thing that was slightly confusing at first is that the "drive thru" lane closest to the building is the ATM lane only. Upon initially seeing all of the cars in line for that service, I almost drove away because I did not have time to wait; however, I soon realized the arrangement of the lanes. I had the privilege of having Danielle Gaston set up the paperwork for my new account. She was kind and courteous and even allowed me to joke and banter with her. Scott Hammersley, their business/commercial lending specialist, came out and introduced himself and spent time learning about our new business coming to the Westfield area. Later when I was having trouble getting online banking and the mobile app setup, one of the bank's team took my call, walked me through it, and stayed on the phone with me till setup was confirmed. I never felt rushed or hurried, there was a calm, steady tone and constant reminders that I was their priority and they wanted me to be set up and able to use all the resources the bank had for me. I'm grateful for my time at CFBI, and I'm very impressed with the service and resources they have available. I love their approachable and dedicated commitment to our local community.

After another 15 minute hold, I was finally told when the special rate expires. But the rep said the 800# personnel do not know the money market rate and I would have to visit a branch to find out. I said I spent a half hour in the branch yesterday and did not have time to make another trip to answer such a basic question. Old National has good in person service which is offset by their sub par 800# service. To even get through to them you have to give all sorts of information including your date of birth.
