That is always how the clearance is marked. Assuming it was clearance I brought up quite a bit of clothes. Most times I go I spend at least $50, so I am excited when there are cute clearance items. At the register I was told that yes the slashes mean clearance, but in this instance it was marked for inventory. I worked in retail for over 10 years, so I understand things happen. I told the girl that it is confusing. She said nothing, finished the rest of my purchase quickly and angrily and then basically tossed the bag at me and walked away to price items.

02/12/2025 In the evening when I arrived to meet with my…read morefamily to shop. Immediately I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable as I approached my mother and older sister were already in line. The man at the register seemed to be saying something into his radio/earpiece. Not only that man at the register but it seemed the Security Guard (I'm guessing) who was at the self-checkout seemed to be giggling about something. Now I wish it was just me but I was having a pretty good day and it felt as if I was being avoided. The man at the register left and let a young woman take over. Seeing as I got there a little late to meet up with them to shop. We had gotten out of line to continue to look around the store to leave together. Moments after we got back in line the SG notified everyone that if we had left than X items we could go to self-checkout. Seeing as we did we went ahead and moved. The same thing happens the SG was laughing and seemed to be talking into the radio/earpiece and called over the Young woman to take over at the self-checkout. I confided in my sister and mother about it, they agreed that something was strange. So it was not just me imagining it. Needless to say, it was a horrible experience. The young woman was kind and I appreciated her kindness.
