My mother was born there in Bally Shannon Co. Donegal Ireland. and the family immigrated to Ellis Island 1926. John knew exactly where that house was at drove me there . Gave me the history of belly, Shannon, drove me to the cemetery where I found my great grandfather's tombstone, Thomas Elliott , And then drove me all the way to Ballybofey to stay with a cousin. John was a excellent driver. I came all the way from California where they drive crazy . I'm coming back to BallyShannon in less than two weeks and I hope to hire John again!
