Oh my goodness. So much to look at and admire. The prices are right and bargains are plentiful. Nice owners.

I promised myself last year that if there was a repeat this year I would rate this shop as deserved. I will begin with service - 0 would not be a low enough rating. evidently despite the fact I have visited from out of state ( PA) one to three times a year and spending between $200 - $3200 each visit I do not 'look' like their type of customer. I have never been treated as consistently badly. this time ( my last time) - I saw the merchandise had gotten even lower scale than ever. very little to purchase. However, I was purchasing a piece of smaller furniture for a garden display. - long story short after treating me like garbage and making me wait beyond ( a half hour beyond) my turn they finally managed to ring me up. It took an hour 15 minutes to purchase an item at the posted discount. i am a 70 year old woman with a toddler and could carry the item myself. In addition (Once again) - the woman behind the counter failed to pack all the items I paid for!!! which I discovered when 130 miles away - too late to turn back. -adding insult to injury the staff acted like I was a thief or undesirable. This stunned me because far more upscale shops remember me and welcome my presence. I do not believe ladies ever treat an older customer who has purchased from them over the years in the way I have endured. I'm tired of excusing the shoddy behavior, lack of service and routine failure to pack what I purchase. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this deteriorating standards of merchandise establishment. I will travel to other areas in the future and so should you. I have been in the business as a decorator and dealer and this place and it's desperate shabby ( in the worst way) merch and shoddy repro heavy merchandising sets a record for unpleasant and unprofessional. read more

On February 23, 2026 I went into Old South Antique Mall to shop. I am a collector of fairy lamps and I happen to find one in there took it to the front counter to continue my shopping. Short older lady at the counter told me she would have it wrapped up for me while I finished with my shopping. Got back down to pay for it. Same lady looked me dead in my face and asked me if I knew it was $145. She did not even wrap it up because she didn't know if I could afford it. I told her I didn't give a shit how much it cost. I was purchasing it. Then told her I will NEVER EVER shop at the store again. If you want a pleasant experience with antique shopping NOT go to Old South antique mall in Dothan, Alabama. read more

This place is filled with booths rented by various vendors. A lot of the booths are questionable but the staff working the place are always very friendly and helpful. My personal favorite booth is K Gilbert Designs & Unique Finds she features "antiques, furnishings and decorative accessories". I haven't found such cool, affordable furniture in a longass time and totally think it is worth checking out. Over the last ten years this place has started shifting to a flea-antiques combo. Still fun. Hit or miss.

This is probably the foremost antique mall in Dothan, Alabama or the surrounding area. It just don't get any better than this. If you can't find what you are looking for here, it probably just doesn't exist anymore. If you would like to rent a booth, they are available too. Love shopping here! Truly something for everyone. Art, toys, home decor, furniture, books, garden decorations, antiques and vintage finds, as well as upcycled pieces and some new items. Lots of treasures and decent prices. I heard the mall is under new management and the upstairs just recently reopened and has some really neat vendors. read more

A decent antique store, but nothing spectacular. Kind of sparse. Lots of reproductions and upcycled items- which is great for finding a deal, but not great if you're looking for real quality antiques. We stopped in on our way south. Probably won't go back. read more

We LOVE this antique mall. We always find treasures. Our 5 pound yorkie is always welcomed, with a smile, and that makes us VERY happy! The staff is always friendly & helpful. They have new stock every time we visit. We live in Atlanta & stop by there several times per year. It is only a few blocks out of our way when we go to the beach & well worth it. It is a great place to stretch our legs after a long drive, too! read more
