I can't say enough good things about these folks. First, I met Virginia at the showroom. She was…read moresuper friendly and knowledgeable. She spent a good deal of time showing me different things until I found my "Dream Carpet." It's AMAZING!! Brett came out to do measurements. I asked him if they could do vinyl plank over my worn out linoleum. He said it would be no problem. I only looked at a few samples at the showroom and I decided I would just live with the linoleum. Well, I changed my mind, and now I wanted vinyl plank too. I told Brett kinda knew what I wanted. I live pretty far from the store, so he sent me a link to a website that had sample colors. I picked a color I liked. Brett took a piece of it from the showroom and put it next to the carpet sample I picked and texted me the photo. That's going the extra mile! It looked absolutely amazing. The other carpet place I went to said it would be 3-4 weeks for installation. Texas Pride had it ordered and here by the next week. If it didn't rain every dang day, they would have installed it in about a week and a half. Instead, it was just at 2 weeks. The President, Bobby, came out on install day to check things out. The install team, Carlos and his wife, did a wonderful job. It looks even better then I imagined. Highly recommended!!

They would not acknowledge that the issues were their responsibility. I hired a private floor inspector to get a second opinion. TPF has tried to place all of the issues that I see with the floor under the HVAC not being on when the floor was installed last June. However, the inspector found that the subfloor preparation was at fault and NONE of the issues I'm experiencing are related to HVAC. I gave them a chance to collaborate a solution with me and their response was not to take responsibility in any way, they wouldn't even answer the email. The company will not honor their 1 year installation warranty on labor. The installer was Nelvke, which they told me was their best installer however the inspector found deviations all throughout the 2600 sqft of installed floor. I paid 17K for this floor. I paid for leveler and they did not make sure the sub floor was flat before installing. Beware and steer away from this company.

Having remodeled two homes…read morebefore, I can honestly say I've never worked with a company that handled a flooring project this well. We had them replace existing hardwood through out the entire home with luxury engineered hardwood. Their communication was exceptional, especially since I was living out of town during the remodel. They kept me informed every step of the way, and their professionalism, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and execution were second to none. Our hardwood floors turned out absolutely beautiful, and because of this experience, I've already hired them for additional projects. They're truly a dream to work with. To top it all off, their pricing was better than other companies we considered, yet the quality of their work was unmatched. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Soleil Floors to anyone looking for a company that genuinely takes pride in what they do.

The floor makes the house look brand new, and the attention to detail and respect for all the items in our house they moved was above and beyond what I expected. One small complaint was that they chipped areas of my wall in various places, but this was after informing them that we were going to repaint the walls ourselves. We didn't mind the wall damage due to that, but I would recommend communicating your needs clearly like we did. Excellent work!

I hired Eliab of The Good Tile to remove our 90s bleh kitchen floor tile, remove our backsplash…read moretile, and install over 300 square feet of new flooring tile plus new backsplash, and extensive accent wall tiling in the backsplash tile. My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

UPDATE: Your…read moreresponse is not accountability. It is damage control, and it is misleading. You keep trying to reduce this to a "misunderstanding" about the plumber, but that is not what happened. You recommended and coordinated the plumber as part of the project, and the plumber stated that you already knew the correct rate. Yet I was quoted a lower amount up front, which made the situation feel like a bait-and-switch once the job was already underway. You cannot bring someone into the project, benefit from the job, and then act like his pricing and your communication had nothing to do with you. Your claim that you did not leave anything unfinished is also contradicted by the photos I uploaded. The kitchen tile work was not completed. That is not an opinion. That is visible in the photos. Your latest claim that you "only charged for what was carried out" is also misleading. I paid for the majority of the kitchen tile work, and the kitchen was still left unfinished. Saying you did not charge for the uncompleted portion does not erase the fact that I paid substantial money toward a job that you did not complete, then had to hire another contractor to finish. The most serious issue is that you were supposed to return the following week to finish the tile work and dispose of the tub. I texted you to confirm the schedule and materials. You did not return my calls. Then you did not show up. That is not a misunderstanding. That is a no-call/no-show. A professional business owner does not ignore a customer, fail to show up, leave visible unfinished work, and then publicly try to rewrite the facts. This was a horrendous experience involving misleading pricing, unfinished work, ignored calls, a no-show, and added expense. Homeowners should look closely at the photos and be extremely careful before allowing The Good Tile into their home or paying them for a project.

After looking at all different stones and wood we have decided to go with cement tiles. I have searched high and low for a similar tile that Leo's Oyster Bar has and finally found it here at Rustico. I looked at 30 different cement tile shops and have found that Rustico probably has the best pricing also. The customer service has been wonderful, I've been conversing with Melanie through email. She shipped me three samples and all three are great quality. I liked how she made sure to follow up with me to let me know my tiles would be arriving that afternoon, we are in Southern California and they're in Texas. The tiles came well packed. I went to look at cement tiles in Woodland Hills at a store called Factor Surfaces same quality cement cement tiles were starting at $9.50 a piece vs Melanie's $5.50 and even a $3.75 sale priced tile. On their website you can see which tiles are on a flash sale at the moment. What makes Rustico an ever better deal for me is the saving on taxes. Based off the customer service I've had with Melanie over a dozen or so emails has me whole heartedly recommending Rustico.
