This review is more specific to Steak night which happen on Wednesday & Friday nights (Friday Night has Prime Rib as well) You go to the bar and order Your Steak or Shrimp which comes with sides (Cesar Salad, Scallop Potatoes & Bread which You can toast on the grill. You get Your Steak or Shrimp and take them out to the grill and start cooking it Yourself. There are sauces and spices to cook with, and butter as well. The service was great as all the staff is very helpful from the bartenders to the cook & waiting staff. The ambiance is that of a dive bar and a local cafeteria which kind of cozy which is pretty cool because You can spend hours talking with friends and family. Wednesday steak night! Great dinner tonight at Olde Town. On Wednesdays you cook your own steak out on the giant trailer bbq. $17 for a nice 10 oz steak with unlimited fries, salad, and bread. Kids had a blast at the bbq and eating fries. Pretty busy tonight but plenty of seating. Mopar club was out with their cars and a ton of Harley's also. Basically dinner and a car show. read more

A co-work mentioned this place, decided to give it a try. Walked in 6pm, three people sitting at the bar. The area was clean, bar area was a little dark, friendly bartender, Kim. We each ordered the 6 piece chicken wings with onion rings ($3/ basket up charge for onion rings)... had a side of "death " dipping sauce . Death sauce had a tomato, onions, and peppers flavor with a nice stingy at the end from the hot peppers . Or bartender, Kim, was personable, kind, and friendly $52 for: 2 baskets of chicken wings side onion rings, 2 beers, and 2 whiskey and coke. We enjoyed it. Great place. Their no frills , just a great steak on Wednesday night is all right in my mind.

I'm giving this place four stars because for what it is, it's more than adequate. I'm thinking maybe I should give three stars to reduce the potential of millennial douches deciding to come in though. If you want a drink from a competent bartender in a place where people from all walks of life show up, this is your place. If you go for one of the nights they have food and won't complain about the lack of local organic vegetables alongside a steak or wings, this could be your place. If you are going out to be seen or put on a nice outfit, this is not your place. If you are looking for a huge selection of craft beer, this is not your type of watering hole. If you really care about the state of the bathrooms, this is not ideal for that either. Overall if you want a beer on your way home from work or a stop for one on the way to Yosemite to meet some locals, this will do the trick. One tip: do not, I repeat DO NOT sit at the bar in the seats to the left near the kitchen if you are not a local regular. It's very casual and if you'd like to cook your own steak and have as much French frys, salad and sour dough bread this place is for you. It's out in the country off of 120 orYosemite Road. It was entertaining and felt like everyone knew each other. A older gentleman made us feel welcome named Tony. I have a feeling he's here every Wednesday night. Venue is located 3 miles east of Manteca on route 120 aka (Yosemite Blvd) - Great place to stop for food heading in our out of Yosemite or to some of the lakes (Don Pedro, etc...) First time visit was on 7/3/19. Venue is divided into 2 areas, tables for eating food which those that are 21 may also access and then there is the salon area, for 21 and older Our visit was on Steak Night. The meal is set up where you buy the steak, New York cut, and I believe it starts at a 10 OZ cut. If you need a larger portion, the kitchen will cut it for you and its a little extra. Your meal comes with Salad, French Bread / Butter, Fries and the cut of steak you ordered. All for ~ 12.75 nd I believe that they charge ~ 1.00 per oz on the size increase. You get to go outside, cook the steak the way you want it on a large 4 x 8 grill and socialize with all of the others cooking at the same time. Good quality cut of meat Parking was not an issue, plenty of parking Eating area was clean and constantly being cleaned by staff Outside food prep and grilling area was also clean and being kept up by staff. Plenty of room inside to sit, dine and socialize. Good selection of beer on tap And if you hose up your steak, well........... HORRIBLE! I went there tonight, with 3 females, 2 males. There were about 13 people there including staff, 5 of us, and a few people who seemed to be regulars. It was early, around 10pm and we requested a song to be played by the DJ. When it came on, 4 of us, (1 male 3 females) headed out to the dance floor, where we were the only people. Soon after, 2 men, who seemed to be regulars, followed and approached from behind. One threw a punch at the male we were with, and they soon had him on the ground. The "bouncers" were slow to break up this ambush. After that, the boys were kicked outside, but did not leave. We tried to pay our tab but the bartender was too busy outside talking to the men who jumped us. It took 20 min to close out two tabs. While trying to close out our tab, the bartender told us she owned the place and we were acting childish. She asked us how old we were and told us we were too old to be bringing drama to her bar. She was yelling at us and acting like we had started this trouble. When we asked her to call the police she refused, and told us to get out of "her" bar. Then we were not offered an escort out until the cook told the bouncers it wasn't safe to let us leave alone. One bouncer and the very nice cook walked us out. During the shuffle, in which all the girls in our party were all knocked down, hit, or both, there was a jacket missing. None of the people running this bar seem to know what had happened to it. They just told us to leave. Overall, one of the worst nights of my life, and will probably be perusing legal action. Word of advice to the owner, your employees should not be claiming ownership, refuse to call the police, or be too drunk to do their job, like they were tonight. All of the above is very poor business ethic, and character on the employees, and apparently the owners part. read more
