If you're anywhere near Belmont MS you've got to eat here!!!! Good old country breakfast with eggs made perfectly as ordered! Melt in your mouth homemade biscuits! Country bacon cooked to perfection! Not really sure what the huge draw is to this location except that it's one of very few dining options in this small section of the MS/AL border. The "dining room" if you can call it that is merely an extra couple tables against the wall and a long table with a bunch of chairs....right next to the auto parts and other sundries found in a standard gas station market. The people were less than friendly, but the staff was fine and patient with all the clearly out-of-town folk visiting from the nearby Tiffin Service Center. Our food was no better than an average Cracker Barrel, but I will say the biscuits were HUGE, so maybe sharing a plate is in order. We'll be back if we're in the area, mainly due to the dearth of options otherwise. read more

Went to the Ole Country Store for breakfast. Know that this is a small cafe inside of a gas station! Staff were great! Friendly, helpful and quick service. You order at the cafe window, get your drinks, and the food is brought out to you. When you think of the food...think 'country cooking'. Husband had a breakfast biscuit and I had biscuit/gravy. Felt like I was eating at my grandma's. There are 2 tables for 4 and then a long table that seats about 20 total with a couple tables on the porch outside. this was a perfect find in the country. a nice store with fresh cooked breakfast plates and really nice staff. eggs bacon and toast were great. loved the welcoming vibe and laid back atmosphere. perfect americana. i'd definitely go back. it's nothing fancy but that's what makes it special. read more
