I just returned from Olegana's Spring 2026 Woman's Trip to Puglia, Italy, and all I can say is 'WOW!'. It was a fantastic experience of food, culture, history, and new friendships. Although there were a few women traveling as companions, for the most part, we started as a group of 16 strangers, and ended our week together as fast friends. It was wonderful to go on a trip that was truly a vacation. Anna's attention to detail, and our wonderful guide, Melina, implementing and impacting the vision, made for a completely relaxing, fun filled experience. The food experiences were a mix of hands-on and demonstration and the food was delicious. The diverse itinerary invited us to explore alleys, a vineyard, churches, vast olive groves, pastures, mountains, archaic villages, workshops, and, of course, kitchens! Our accommodations were spectacular; on any given day, at any moment, around any corner, my breath was taken away at the beauty of the Masseria, which was only surpassed by the kindness of the employees there. Melina was a treasure and it was our group's collective pleasure to get to know her. She kept everyone on task (not a small task with 16 women) and made everything even more fun. She is a kind wealth of knowledge on so many topics and clearly knows the area and all things foodie! The women-only small group trip was a great way to visit the Andalusian region of Spain for the first time. I loved traveling with other like-minded women and felt that this style of trip allowed me to experience things I probably wouldn't have on my own. My husband found Anna/Olegana Travel Boutique on Instagram. Once I read her Google reviews I knew she would be the perfect one to plan our Italy Honeymoon, which was also our 1st trip to Europe ever. From the beginning, Anna was super helpful and very organized. She helped us narrow down what cities to visit during our 11 day trip. Based on her questionnaire and our initial phone call, we decided on Rome, Florence, and Venice! Anna asked us for suggestions on things we would like to do on this trip and even suggested some of her favorite activities. Once we received the itinerary, I was blown away at how much thought was put into every aspect of the trip. She included every activity we requested, even golfing in Tuscany! Anna organized everything on an easy to read app that was also available offline. The app made the pre-planning for the trip so seamless. Anna was so responsive to any questions, edits, and recommendations we needed before our big trip. I don't think I can ever travel to another country without consulting with Anna or someone just like her. All of the hotels were top of the line & the service was phenomenal. Even the breakfasts at these hotels were a luxury. Anna had notes left at each our hotels and even sent us some amazing chocolates on our anniversary. All of the tours were so great, and the tour guides were so knowledgeable. My favorite city was definitely Florence, but Rome is a close second. My favorite tour was the evening Rome golf cart tour. My favorite activity of the trip was the cooking class in Tuscany. I have even made homemade pasta for my family from what I learned in the class. I just had the pleasure of spending a week in the beautiful and charming Andalucia region of Spain with a group of wonderful women all orchestrated by Anna at Olegana Travel Boutique. The Andalucia Spain trip was so well planned and had such a diverse range of immersive experiences that were well balanced throughout the week- history, UNESCO World Heritage sites (Alhambra, the historic center of Cordoba, the Catedral de Sevilla, and Alcazar), wine tasting at a restored convent, lunch and boating on the Mediterranean Sea, a cooking class, sangria making, olive oil tour & tasting and much more. Our local guide, Marta, was wonderful - so enthusiastic and knowledgeable - she made sure we were all happy and having the best time. All of the locals that were part of our journey were great and it was apparant they had such pride and joy in sharing their culture and traditions with us. I wanted to see as much as possible in less than a week, had a budget in mind, and wasn't planning on renting a car, so I needed a bit of help.
