Wow. I stopped in by chance on a rainy afternoon and discovered this treasure trove filled with…read morebeautiful things! I really have been looking for something unique, handmade, and truly Alaskan to remember my trip and found that very thing here. (A really beautiful pendant made of fossilized mammoth tooth and larimar... ) I did have a hard time deciding, just because there were so many beautiful pieces here! They carry native handicrafts, gold and silver jewelry, art objects, and so much more. I think they are also a full service jewelry store and can do repair work as well. If you're looking for something to remember your trip or to get for a gift, don't miss this shop. It's amazing and Carmen is wonderful to chat with! She helped me figure out some great places to visit while I'm here to shoot in. I'm so glad I stopped in! Thanks so much, love my pendant and Homer was a cool trip today!

Just wanted to update this - we stopped here in 2019. I called them recently to make sure they…read morewere still open after COVID as my daughter will be driving past them in Soldotna very soon. They are still open for business!! This was the very best "souvenir" place in all of Alaska. Reluctant to use that word "souvenir" as this store is really an art store full of native Alaskan artwork, carvings, etc. It's almost like a museum. If you want to consider something special from Alaska, stop at this place. We got a small scrimshaw piece carved on a small chunk of mammoth tusk that was mounted on a piece of caribou antler. So unique and beautiful. BTW - the Alaskan locals find mammoth tusks and pieces around the lakebeds - thousands of years old. It is legal for them to collect and turn into art as they are not collected by hunting live animals.
