They are still open for business!! This was the very best "souvenir" place in all of Alaska. Reluctant to use that word "souvenir" as this store is really an art store full of native Alaskan artwork, carvings, etc. It's almost like a museum. If you want to consider something special from Alaska, stop at this place. We got a small scrimshaw piece carved on a small chunk of mammoth tusk that was mounted on a piece of caribou antler. So unique and beautiful. BTW - the Alaskan locals find mammoth tusks and pieces around the lakebeds - thousands of years old. It is legal for them to collect and turn into art as they are not collected by hunting live animals.

I have gotten tops, dresses, shoes, two vests, and even a hand bag at Curtain Call, it's hard to resist when the price is right! All of the price tags have 50% off dates on them so if you're willing to wait you might get an even better deal, as long as someone else doesn't get it first! The only downfalls are no men's clothes and they're only open Fridays and Saturdays but I can't blame them for either-life's busy and fashion conscious men in Kenai might be a hard market to run a business on.

I came here to buy groceries earlier in the week and made regular stops for coffee at the Starbucks inside of here. FredMeyer also sells supplies. I was able to pick up some fishing boxes to ship the fish that I caught home. FredMeyer stores operate in northwestern United States. This location in Soldotna is open everyday 6 AM - 11 PM. They have a pharmacy and a fuel center. They also offer grocery pickup for online shoppers.

Coopers Landing and Sterling were actually cheaper than here. And the gas station was so overcrowded with cars, if you have a big RV it feels tight. And worse, the middle part of the middle lane of the station is cluttered with vending machines or snacks etc, NOT gas pumps. So, what a waste of a gas lane on Both Sides. In general the price here was similar to all the other places in town, and with these extra annoyances it's just not a good place to refill your RV or your rig.
