Awful. I actually hated this place. I been a few times before and they were just mediocre before but not bad enough for a review. No I went for my birthday this time around thanksgiving and they had about 2 customers behind me waiting. One had an appointment and they didn't even have someone there for her so she waited 20 mins then left. I was getting acrylics a full set and she was rushing and at times wasn't even looking at what she was doing she was more focused on the new customers. She made my nails crooked, didn't file them down so these nails were thick, already a day later the acrylics are chipping at the bottom, AND she didn't cut my cuticles so it looks like my nails are already growing out. I've been going to Olio nails since that opened. Have been please with the 2 bail techs over the years. However the last 3 times I've been there I waited 35 Minutes to be taken care of. Sorry but my time is very valuable and with an Apointment I should not have to wait 35 minutes. Also people coming in without an apt also have very lengthy waits. They will seat them in a pedicure chair and then if their lucky they are seen about 45 min later. There is alot of competition out there so I will never go back!!!! read more

The salon is gorgeous. Seems to be pretty clean. I have tried this location on two separate occasions and my opinion still hasn't changed. First time I got a full set. 1- they didn't know what coffin shape/ ballerina shape was. 2- my nails weren't even or straight. Seems the man doing my nails was more worried about getting the next person in than the quality of my nails. Second time me and my mom went in to get a pedicure, it was worse than my first experience. The pedicure was maybe 20 mins once again worried about rushing and getting the next client in. They also barely scrubbed our feet. When they went to paint the nails we told them we still had calluses on our heels. They didn't seem to either understand or care because the issue never got fixed. I do not recommend this nail salon if you are looking for quality. If you want to be in and out regardless of what your nails look like then is is a place for you. Just horrible! We went there because of the 20% coupon and went back because of the coupon even though they were not very friendly. The last time we went the total was $76. I didn't realize it until I was recording my receipts but they only gave me $10 for the coupon when it should have been $15. I went back to ask about it and got yelled at! FASTEST MANICURES AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY I took my younger cousins here to get their nails done for their first time and felt the workers here did a so/so job. I'm from Los Angeles and monthly manicure/pedicure so I know when we're getting mediocre service. Why it was so/so: 1. They told us on the phone they could take all 3 of us but when we came only 2 nail techs were available. 2. The manicure took like 10-12 minutes. She didn't cut the cuticles and the hand massage was WEAK. She just put lotion on the hands, no relaxing massage, literally took 2 minutes. We might as well gotten a polish change and saved our money! 3. Didn't offer us anything to drink. I saw one girl offer water to her customer so I asked for one too. Which I had to go get myself. Wack customer service. I don't know if it was because we weren't white or because we looked young but we definitely didn't get good service here like the other patrons (we were the only asians in there). I went to this nail salon repeatedly for over a year on and off and occasionally seen rudeness from the staff, then one day on a break from work I decided to treat myself and went into Oilo Nails. I was greeted by the owner with a "what you need" and no smile. I advised "Pick a color" still no smile. After picking a color I was directed to sit in a station by a quick finger point. While my nails were being filled by the owners wife, the two of them were going back and forward it what appeared to be an argument in their native language. What a beautiful nail salon! I came in for my last pedicure before having my 3rd baby in just a few weeks. There was A LOT of people already there at 5:20pm on a Wednesday. When I walked in 2 people were signing in. I was up next and signed in as a walk in for just a pedicure. I took my time looking for a color (they have everything you could think of) and was actually seated in a pedicure chair quicker then I thought! Within about 15 minutes of walking in. They let my feet soak for about 20-30 minutes and I just enjoyed the time in the massage chair. Each pedicure station had a nice bowl of water (mine was kind of cold but I didn't mind since I'm so hot while pregnant). The lady I got was very nice and did a great job on my toes. They have 3 different packages for pedicures and I did the $30 package which was the middle one. I can understand why people might think they aren't friendly here. It seems like more of a slight language barrier and cultural difference, to me. They really do an amazing job, though. The building is clean and tidy, however the staff is not friendly at all. I was not greeted upon entering, instead asked "what do you want?" Then, The male technician who was assigned to do my pedicure did not speak any English, so any communication was done between taps on my legs, or abruptly moving my legs/feet very forcefully. I asked for the pedicure that had the most massage, and was expecting several minutes of massage for $40. However, I received maybe a total of 10 minutes, and that's being gracious. The first woman who did my feet was amazing super sweet and helpful she did a great job on my feet, however the second lady (Paya i believe was her name not sure) who did my fill set rushed through it and was very rough and rude!! Customer service is very important in a nail shop and this place had little... I made an appointment for me and my mother in law and when we came in we did not get greeted with "hi how are you" but instead "what service do you want?" The shop was really busy and i was trying to be understanding but they were just so understaffed that I was about to just walk out. The person who did my nails was fine, but wasn't welcoming either. My nails looked okay. The nails are a bit unmatched and he did not do a good job cleaning up my nails. The next day my nail on my thumb was hurting SO bad. This has never happened to me before. If I could give negative stars I would. About a month ago I went to olio nails to get a new full set. When I called and asked if they had time for a full set they said absolutely so I came in. It wasn't my first time I had actually been coming here for about 3 months prior this issue. Anyway i had been seated by and they began to soak my nails. I had been soaking my nails for about 30 minutes bc the women that was working on me left to help another client. I asked someone if I could remove my nails and they said yes so the same lady came over and began to file my nails but told me to soak them again and left me unattended again. After 30 minutes my cuticles began to burn so bad. I told the lady and she rolled her eyes at me and got another nail tech to finish my nails. At this point my nails and cuticles were so sensitive because of the acetone that when they applied the acrylic my nail bed felt like they were on fire. When I complained to the man who charged me he told me I was in the wrong because I hadn't made an appointment but I had called before I came in to make sure they had time and could get me in. I ended up paying $54 and being told to "shut up" after They gave me a chemical burn. On top of that I found out they used MMA monomer instead of EMA. MMA monomer is banned by the FDA for the use of nails. The way that u can tell is when they soak your nails it should not feel sticky or gummy it should be powdery and flakey. MMA is very dangerous for your nails and health. I wouldn't not recommend this nail place to anyone. Please be careful! read more

Went to this nail salon a couple weeks ago because it is closest to my house and I needed to get my nails done right before leaving for vacation. I have never been so disappointed with a salon. I got the dip powder and within 2 days they had chipped. A week and a half after getting them done one nail had broken at the tip. Two days later another nail had the dip start breaking off from the nail bed. The dip also began lifting from the base and to top it off I ended up with an infection on one nail. I have never once gotten a nail infection in the many years I have been getting my nails done. I am disgusted. I am not hard on my nails either. I can normally make a dip last over 3 weeks without a fill, no chips, no breaking, no separation from the nail. Honestly, they were not that good to begin with. The lengths and shapes were uneven and the dip did not cover the entire nail in some places, plus the top coat did not cover the whole dip area on a few nails, as well as bubbles in the top coat. They took way more time to do my nails and cost more than my usual salon for an inferior service. read more

I decided to get my nails done here since I received a coupon for 20% off. I thought this would be a good idea since I haven't gotten my nails done in quite a while. Awful! Worst nail salon I have ever been to. First time here so I made an online appointment for 12:30 and arrived a few minutes early. I checked in and was promptly seated which I assumed was a good sign. A gentleman came over and wrapped my fingers in acetone to soak off the previous polish. He then walked away without saying anything, but I assumed the woman I made an appointment with was just finishing up with someone and would be over shortly. At 1:00 I was still sitting there with acetone on my fingers and nobody had even acknowledged me... for 30 minutes! Walk-ins continued to pour in and the techs just told them to sit down at stations and they'd be helped shortly. I asked the woman I made an appointment with when I can expect to be helped as my appointment time was 30 minutes ago, I still had acetone on my hands, and I had somewhere else to be. She took the color I chose, ran to the back, then had me move to another station. She had JUST finished with a customer but did not sanitize the station and didn't even wash/sanitize her hands first! I told her to please not put tips on my nails like I asked for in my appointment request as I didn't have time for that anymore. She then did not even prep my nails, dipped them quickly in the powder, quickly drilled over them, and was done in about 10 minutes. Not to mention, the color was WAY off from what the sample looked like. Not slightly, but like a whole different color. SNS nails at any decent salon take at least 30 minutes and are done properly. She then decided that (because it was "quicker") she was going to finish off the SNS by putting a gel top coat on them. At this point I was just in shock. Then she asked me for $37!!! Appalling. I am not a complainer but for me that is a lot of money so I called the salon back a little while after leaving. He remembered me, did not apologize, and said that "colors change" and that it's my fault she put gel on top because I said I had to leave soon. Even though she started 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment! Now my nails look horrendous and are sticky. I asked for my money back and he refused, never apologized, and said there is nothing he can do except change the color. I don't even want to go back seeing as they don't wash their hands or sanitize their stations. 100% do not recommend going here and wasting your money. Rude and a total rip off. read more

We have had hit or miss experiences at Olio Nails depending on the tech over the last few years but after two very bad experiences recently we are done. Having to wait upwards of an hour even with an appointment has become the normal. The last time we showed the technician checking us in a picture of a design my youngest wanted and asked if they could do it. We were told yes. Then later when it was time to do the design they said they couldn't do it. We tried to tell them we had been told they could but they rudely said no. We have had more complicated designs than this one done there in the past. I believe it was just because they were very busy and didn't want to spend the time. (A couple months later another salon did the design with no trouble). Today my oldest was there for a full set. She told them she wanted medium length. They trimmed them almost to her nail bed. On some you can't even see the nail extend past her finger. She tried to tell the technician as she was trimming. Instead of listening to her and starting over, she literally yelled at my daughter and told her that's what she had asked for (when obviously it wasn't because she was telling her it wasn't). Then the color was wrong. My daughter had shown them a bottle that was the color she wanted and asked if they had it in gel. They said yes. But when she started painting it was just white. Again she tried to speak up and again she was scolded!! My daughter tried to speak to the owner and the technician started yelling to the owner in her native language.
