Before the small however fine and both very in good taste and cosy arranged wine restaurants stand loosely distributes gardentable. Ingo Lucks serves in the afternoon the cakes baked by its wife. This cake is a taste experience: Stachelbeerkuchen with basing hood or Johannisbeertorte with snow mash. The cake and/or cake selection varies depending upon season fruits. The cake selection is small, but very exquisite. To the wines, which are sold flaschenweise, there is small Snacks, which is also all made and a delicious addition of the wine. The wines are selected by Ingo Lucks carefully and cover Germans and European wines. Beside wines there is also a mouth-read out selection of fires and vinegar from ecological cultivation. One is personally served by Ingo Lucks and this always expressed friendly and attentively. Here no stress and everything prevail go to its cosy speed. Unfortunate it is that the restaurant opened only from Easter to Octobers. Result: A cosy wine restaurant with coffee and cake without tourist mass treatment, but with tendency to the individualism and without each stress so that the recovery of the walk is extended, depending upon tendency up to the open end.

Since we were looking for a dinner spot, we decided that we would check it out. Thankfully there was no wait, and we were seated very quickly. The lofted ceilings and the huge wine caskets were very cool and were fun to photograph. We asked if we could sit in one of the private booths, which they very kindly allowed. It got to be super stuffy in the booth and I would not recommend dining with a large group in the booths, but it was cozy and romantic for just me and my husband. Food was just okay, I felt like everything was a bit too salty for my palate, but there was a great assortment of land and sea options.

I found this place on Yelp and was happy to know it was just a short walk from the hotel we had…read morebooked. It looked like the reviews were good from both tourists and locals alike, so I figured we should check it out. My German half-brother-in-law and I both ordered the Schnitzel, and he actually said it was very well done and one of the best ones he's ever had, which I think says a lot!! My husband got the pork knuckle which was really just way too much food, but he enjoyed it thoroughly. The servers were very kind and helpful, and although we sat outside because the weather was nice and there was no air-conditioning indoors, I got to walk through the restaurant to access the salad bar and was surprised to see how nicely decorated it was inside. I definitely considered coming back for a second day in a row and definitely would have if we had stayed for longer!

There were five of us and we all got something different. We shared among the group and there were no disappointments. Great schnitzel, delicious currywurst, a very interesting and yummy German meatloaf and the best spaetzl I've ever had. We enjoyed it enough we went back the next night. Our waitresses were great! My tasty German soda did have a hidden message for me.
