We've been going to this Olive Garden for several months mostly during the weekday lunch. For entrees, we usually get the Chicken Alfredo with the grilled chicken. We cannot resist their salads. The breadsticks are just OK. They seemed to have changed the recipe for them some years ago. If you like Alfredo or Carbonara sauces, you can't go wrong with their entrees. Overall, for the money, the Olive Garden has some good menu choices (if you know what to order). We walked right in and were seated immediately in a booth all the way in the back. I understand it was busy due to Father's Day, and I completely understand delays during peak times. However, what was disappointing was the lack of acknowledgment. A waitress walked right past us and attended to a table behind us, greeting her with "Hello, friend" and taking her order, and she was seated after us. She continued to walk by our table several times without saying a word to us. After waiting about 9 and counting with no greeting, no drink order, and no indication that someone would be with us shortly, we decided to leave. As we were leaving, the same waitress asked, "Has anyone come and waited on you guys?" As we're walking out I spoke with the manager and explained that no one had attended to us, but by that point it was too late. We didn't want to be moved to another table or start over. I have not been to Olive Garden in idk how long but I throughly enjoyed my experience here. We were greeted by the hostess immediately and were sat immediately. Although our waiter was busy he acknowledged us immediately. The salad was fresh and our breadsticks were hot so i loved that. The calamari was enjoyable a little bit oily but not unbearable. I really enjoyed my shrimp and steak pasta but it was a tad bit more spicy than i expected so just be careful if you assume spicy isn't spicy spicy at all places like Olive Garden, you will be wrong like me. I didn't try the spaghetti meatballs but by the looks of her plate afterwards it was delicious. WE had a dinner after my mother's funeral and the staff was excellent. From making the reservation and details with a couple different managers, everything was seamless. I really hate to even have to write this but the issue needs to be addressed ( I will be calling to speak with a manager tomorrow as well)! I ordered Togo tonight, got home and put the paper bag on the stove and proceeded to take the containers out. A minute later I see a German roach on my stove!!! I have NEVER in 32 years of living in my home EVER had a German roach. It most definitely came out of the bag! I have been in the restaurant business for 25 years so I know that kitchens can have pests but it is the manager/owners job to keep them under control. I am completely disgusted as anyone would be. Olive Garden is probably my favorite restaurant. My family and I have been going to the Largo Mall Olive Garden for years now. So it was nice to have that nostalgia when I came back home to visit my family. The service was pretty quick and the food was very good. Sometimes going to Olive Garden is always a hit or miss, but this branch always makes sure the soups are hot and the bread is fresh. I wanted to write this review to recognize our server Lillian, who provided wonderful service to her entire section. She was incredibly polite and very on top of checking on everyone. She had a complaint from the table next to us, and I was incredibly shocked by what was said to the manager, because Lillian in no way had disrespected this woman. The entitlement that people have and the unkindness to others is unnecessary, and I hope that what that woman said doesn't make Lillian feel anything less than exceptional. For a to-go order, our experience was just horrendous. I'm sitting in my car talking to my daughter and she says oh look here comes our food. I look the same second and the young lady Jahnelly M. delivering the food to our car, straight up shoves the food in my face! All I have is a brown bag through my window with "here you go." Nothing other than that! No thank you, No have a nice evening! and then for a cherry on top as she's walking back into the buildin', the second she leaves our car (which was the same second she handed me our food) she's typing away on her cell phone! My grandmother loves Olive Garden and I think she's really missed it during this pandemic. It was high on her priority list when I came to town. I placed an order online for an order of Lasagna Classico to split with her and 2 salads. This is another location that's adapted nicely to accommodating curb side pick up. After placing my order, I received a text that I answered when I had arrived, giving them the number of my parking spot. Our order was brought out promptly. My wife and visited Olive Garden Largo Mall, within 35 minutes were served our water-wine and cold dried bread - salad and our meal at same time, no time to relax to enjoy our meal that was not hot. We paid $47.30 for unhealthy food out the door. We asked to see the Manager to complain about our meal, he reply sorry we will do better next time goodby. FOUR employees manning the host station yet did not pick up 3 menus for a party of 3 so had to wait for him to go and get the one he didn't pick up. Why do restaurants think they need the equivalent of a third world nation's army at the host station? We are all paying for this complete waste of labor. I went to Olive garden for a Veteran's lunch on Veteran's day. I ordered a chicken parmagiano . When I was just finishing my soup, I got a phone call from my wife that she had fallen and needed me home right away. I explained to the waitress what my problem was and asked for the meal to be boxed to take home. I left her a $5.00 tip and left. After I got home and got my wife situated, I sat down to ha ve my lunch and found a spaghetti lunch. She forgot to put the chicken in the box!! I am so sorry that I left her a $5.00 tip. I ate the spaghetti and didn't mention it to my wife but I was really looking forward to the Chicken Parm but I will not go back and sit in her section ever again. read more

Chain restaurants are an integral part of the Florida restaurant landscape. They're easy, familiar, and baby boomers love them. Me, not so much. It's decidedly been quite some time since I've been to an Olive Garden but we decided to stop in for lunch. This location is very clean and the staff is attentive and hospitable. No complaints there. I also love the unlimited breadsticks and complimentary soup or salad. It's a great value and the soups and bread all seem fresh. The biggest downside, however, were our actual entrees. We ordered from the lunch value menu and all of our meals left much to be desired. I got the shrimp scampi. The meal was obviously prefrozen and heated up for me. The sauce was watery and the flavor lacking. My brother's tortellini was lukewarm and mushy. I'm not sure if the lunch menus are a notch down from the real entrees, but this is a marked departure from the quality I once knew from Olive Garden. I'll still come back for the breadsticks and soup though. read more

Don't plan on going here if you have a party of more than 4 people! They don't have the tables to accommodate "bigger" parties. Tonight, we had 5 people. It was my mothers 70th birthday and all she wanted was OG. I put our name on the waitlist online before we left, it said 40-50 minutes. We got to the restaurant about 20 minutes later. We were told we were next in line but that it might be a little while because they had to wait on a "bigger" table for our "bigger" party. I said okay, sure. So we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally an hour and ten minutes later they sat a party of 6 (who came in a good half hour after us) before us. I asked to speak with a manager at that point. Of course once she came over and spoke to us, she seated us right away! In an area where we counted a few "bigger" tables. Completely empty! Once seated, the service and food were good. But the hostess stand and process they have up there, while on a wait, is downright disappointing. What restaurant cannot accommodate a party of 5!?? It was like we walked in unexpected with a party of 20 or something. Absolutely ridiculous! I highly doubt we ever return to this location. read more

My husband and I made a reservation online tonight at 6:17. We got a text message saying our table would be ready in 15-20 mins. We left and got to the restaurant at 6:45 and we're told it was going to be a 15-20 minute wait. I let them know we already set our place online so why is there still a wait? The hostess didn't have an answer. We told them to take our names off the list and his response: "are you sure? You're next in line." I told him yes, we're leaving and will find somewhere else to eat. I get places are short staffed because of Covid, but there were four hostesses standing at the booth telling customers there is a wait. Make it make sense.
