However, my chicken korma was rubbish. As a resident of Manchester for 5 years I have sampled a lot of chicken kormas and I know a good one from a bad one. Mojo's korma was very bland (and for a korma that's saying something), even the chicken tasted of very little, and worst of all it was manifestly obvious that the staff had watered down the sauce considerably. The water (definitely water, not oil) was separating from the sauce on my plate and it meant that the sauce had no flavour. I gave up eating it after a few mouthfuls as it wasn't worth it, and decided not to go back because the whole batch of korma sauce would have been watered down, so a replacement was not enough. Lost my appetite! For £5 a dish this is not far off prices in an Indian restaurant (going rate in Manchester is about £6-7 for a curry dish) so its very disappointing that they are cutting corners in such a pathetically obvious fashion. Other curries were fine, as were naans etc. But korma, usually a simple dish, was incredibly disappointing. Will be going to Jolsha's in Marton from now on.

Also, if you go to collect, the road it's on can be quite busy, so it's a bit of a nightmare getting in and out. Also, it is sometimes difficult to get through on the phone to order and at present there is no online ordering option. Don't let that put you off though - the food is well worth it!!! My food was very tasty hers' tasty but a little dry (chef happily supplied us with a batch of MY dishes' sauce for her meal for pennies.). Overall ambience - friendly, well-lit - although it was still light outside, appropriate music played at low volume. Toilets were spotless and impressive. Staff were helpful, polite and really made an effort. Not too expensive given the quality, and portion size, of the food - the potato-skin starter was as big as a main meal. Having visited quite a few restaurants where we have had a terrible dining experience, we'll often visit again just to see if it's still the same - everybody/place can have an off-day, we will visit Al Forno (Of/to, the furnace/oven) again just to see if we were at a good place at a bad time or a bad place at a good time I feel sure it'll pass the second-visit test. The spring rolls were very greasy and the prawn crackers were just weird. The addition of drinks brought the bill up a bit but at least they were bottomless.

A delivery service is available and orders generally arrive within a reasonable time and still piping hot. If you choose to go in and order the shop is pleasantly done out. The decor is all new as the shop was refitted before recently opening. Whenever I pass it looks clean and fresh with pale coloured tiles and a beanch to sit while you wait. The pizzas and garlic bread are good. Slightly greasy but then I do find that to be the case with most take away pizza places. Prices are reasonable. By way of example, a large pizza and a large cheese garlic bread delieverd cost just over £12 There are quite a few veggie options in the pizzas and of course you can choose toppings to make up your own pizza. Large pizzas can be made half and half to share. If you would like your pizza without cheese (as I sometimes do) they are happy to do tht for you too. Basically very accomodating. Compared to other chain restaurants this place is a little expensive, but it's not too bad. The only fault I have found that is on a couple of occasions the glasses they have given us have been quite dirty, and we have had to send them back and then wait for replacements (last time we waited 10 minutes for clean glasses).

The staff here are all very friendly, stopping by at appropriate moments to ask if the meal is ok. They are very happy to serve you. Parking is good as Nandos is classed as being part of the leisure park so you can park for free in blue spaces. White spaces are only free on weekends. The prices are very good with you getting what you pay for and fill up an empty stomach!
