Name issues aside though, The Greek Taverna is a lovely restaurant to dine in and represents a refreshing change from the usual swarm of Indian and Italian restaurants that litter the local area (talk about overkill). The dishes available there are both varied and delicious, with the lamb keftedes being a particularly favourite of mine, as well as the kalamari. The Greek Taverna also does several special offers which are well worth checking out, such as the Early Evening Menu (2 courses for £12.95) and a Sunday menu, both of which represent excellent value for money considering the rich and flavoursome food on offer. The staff there are friendly and attentive also, ensuring that your dining experience at The Greek Taverna is one you will savour, just like their food.

The staff are all pleasant and clued up and, on certain nights, they have traditional Greek music and, well, let me just say that, if you're after a quiet romantic night in, avoid this one (ring ahead to find out when it is as I can't remember) as it can get a bit loud.
