If you're in the Eastgate area, check out Oliver's Desserts inside Eastgate Mall. They have tons of creative macaron flavors along with macaron brownies which were amazing! It was a creative take on a brownie I hadn't seen before.

Our cake & dessert table for our wedding was AMAZING!! We went with all gluten free & it was so nice not to have to worry about which desserts I could or couldn't eat. The flavors were amazing, the consultation was so helpful, & the staff were all so welcoming. We have been back since & plan to return soon!!

The peanut butter pie dessert is delicious. The vegan black raspberry cupcake was moist and decadent. The icing had a touch of almond flavor to it. This bakery offers gluten free and vegan options as well.

Carmel Apple, autumn spice, peanut butter & chocolate, cookies & cream- just to name a few of these delicious cupcakes!

Have been meaning to visit for quite some time. Needed treats for my mom's birthday, so I stopped in. Was instantly grateful I stopped by when I saw their sign out front offering teachers a special treat. It's just really nice to be at school all day, giving, giving, giving... then going to a business that respects & honors my colleagues & me. It was just a great feeling. Then, on top of all of that kindness, I had a great conversation with all three associates there... THEN- the cupcakes were delicious! Five stars reviews on each cupcake from my mom, my 2 young daughters, & me! Will definitely be returning! I found my new fav sweet shop!

It hurts me to write this but I have to...I even got my twin brother's input on this review because this cake meant a lot to both of us. So it was our birthday and after endless weeks of searching and talking to other bakeries, Oliver's Desserts was where I decided to order our cake. With me living in Hawaii and my brother living in Cincinnati it was difficult to keep this cake a secret and find a place to make it. I filled out an order form on their website and was emailed a day or two later with details to finalize my order. I had made sure and wrote several times in email and when I spoke on the phone to Courtney that this cake must not be made with a computerized image and that it had to be made of fondant. The order form (photo attached) even specified that the cake would be made with fondant. HOWEVER, the cake was made with a Buffalo Bills paper computerized image, UGH! (We peeled it off before eating of course.) I called Oliver's on Dec. 21st and 22nd to confirm my cake and the pick up time. On the phone I was told "we close at 5 so pick up your cake anytime before 5", which is what we tried to do. We arrived on the 23rd at 1pm to find that they didn't even have my order! This was devastating to me because it was my birthday and my first birthday with my twin brother in over 8 years, and not to mention I already paid $135 for this cake! The woman working at the time said I could get the cake at exactly 5pm because that was apparently my pick up time anyways (which that is not what they told me on the phone the day before), however, the place closes at 5 so I am not sure why we would arrive directly at 5 if that's the time they close (that didn't make too much sense to us). BUT since they couldn't find the cake or the order, the woman working at the time asked a lot of questions and then said she was sorry but we could come back and pick it up later because she had to talk to the owner who hopefully had the order somewhere. I politely begged for them to deliver it by 6:30 or 7pm later that day which she said would be no problem at all. Fast forward to later that evening when I received a text and a call that the cake was delivered to the house and left on the front porch around 4:00 pm which we said was fine since we told them we wouldn't be home until later on around 6:30. Once we arrived home and opened the cake we found that it was not the exact cake I ordered...and my stomach sank. I specifically ordered it with a fondant 2D buffalo bills logo on the top, not a computerized image. My family urged me to contact the bakery and upon me contacting them, Oliver's Desserts actually blamed me in a text saying that I was the reason the cake was rushed with a computerized image on the top since I apparently told them I needed it by 5pm...which is all a lie because I ordered it weeks in advance and upon pick up said it could be delivered by 630pm, and there was no rush. Anyways, you can take the pictures I attached to this review and see for yourself. I attached my email order form, pictures of the cake I asked for and a picture of the cake they threw together for me, and pictures of texts with whom I believe was the owner. Honestly, I don't own a business, but I do know people that do and they would do anything in order to make their customers happy. I didn't appreciate being blamed for them "rushing" my cake, and I didn't appreciate not being offered any type of discount after the cake wasn't exactly what I ordered (since fondant is obviously more money than some computer picture put on top). It has been over a week now and at the time I was pissed, but even now I find myself still pissed about this entire cake situation. I would not recommend ordering your cake from here since the flavor was just okay, and nothing to take a picture of and brag about, and their customer service is completely lacking (besides delivering the cake).

I love these guys! I met them originally at The Best of The East event where I got to sample their amazing macarons. Everyone was so nice and I received a coupon to return to their storefront. I came recently to finally check them out! It was early afternoon so they were out of some things, but they still had a decent selection. The guy at the counter was so nice and explained all their items and other things they have at certain times or that you may order on their website! I am not normally a cake person, but their cupcakes were more a complete dessert than just cake. They had pie themed ones for the upcoming Pie Day. I selected Blueberry Pie, Banana Cream Pie, and Chocolate Cream pie cupcakes. Each one was delicious, super moist, and unique. In addition I got a Oreo cheesecake brownie (perfectly creamy and fudgy), a mini cheesecake, and a lucky charm cookie... complete with rainbow filling. All super yummy! I am now convinced anything you bought from here would be great! As I was checking out I realized my coupon had just expired but they were nice enough to still honor it. They have a free rewards program that you sign up for on the tablet they use for check out, so don't forget to do so. I look forward to trying more tasty treats in the future! If you want to keep an eye on what they have each day, they are very active on social media (esp IG)! Oh and if you have special dietary restrictions they accommodate! They do keep a daily, already made selection of gluten free items!

The most delicious cake I have ever had and not to mention, absolutely beautiful. We got two baby cakes and the pink cake from Oliver's Desserts and loved them. The best service and moist, yummy cakes. Definitely reccomend!

This is the place you need to be. The staff is amazing, the sweets are delectable, and always a variety! Their customer service is above par especially if you're trying to special order items. A great place to just stop in and grab a sweet for that craving! They also have a great selection of GF, Vegan, Keto.

Oliver's cakes. The best cakes ever!!!!

I have anaphylactic allergies to both soy and peanuts so I can't have the usual post contest treats after a show. No problem!! I hired Oliver's Desserts in Cincinnati to make my favorites: -white chocolate macadamia nut cookies -white chocolate covered pretzels -almond butter fudge with white chocolate - almond butter Buckeyes They smell so great so I know they'll be awesome!! So thankful for places like Oliver's that can take care of my desires allergy free!! I'll be back!! The owner Ashley Rapp greeted me and helped carry my treats to my car! Wonderful personality and such a great experience here!!!

I've purchased from Oliver's, several times in the past, and I'm satisfied every single time. This occasion was no different! We ordered custom cookies and some cake pops, for my son's 1st birthday. The theme is Where The Wild Things Are, and our order turned out even better than I expected! The customer service was awesome, as well! I was pretty open on design, and I love the direction Oliver's took! I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning an event, but, also, for your every day dessert cravings.

We picked up some desserts to try from this place and were happy with the choice. Got a couple of cupcakes and two brownies. The brownies were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. A tad on the sweeter side for my liking but still good. Would definitely recommend. Cupcakes are also on the sweeter side as well.

I finally had a chance to stop by Oliver's Desserts after seeing them on Instagram for awhile. I'll be honest, I made it a point to come here to try their desserts because I am looking for someone to do my 30th birthday cake. They are also pretty far from where I live, so I had to have a reason to come out this way. However, I am pleased with their desserts and will be putting my cake request in. I tried their Red Velvet Cupcake, Pink Champagne Strawberry Cupcake, and Cosmic Brownie. One thing I can say about both cupcakes is they were moist. Sometimes bakeries have a hard time getting Red Velvet right. However, the Red Velvet here is pretty good. I also enjoyed the Oreo icing on top of the Red Velvet. It was creamy and flavorful, and went well with the Red Velvet flavor. The Pink Champagne was also moist and tasted exactly how it was named. It wasn't overpowering but you could taste the champagne flavor. The Red Velvet also tasted how it was suppose to. Now about the brownie. In my opinion, this was not that impressive. It was my least favorite item. I just felt it was lacking in that true brownie flavor. It was chocolaty and creamy but it lacked in flavor and richness. It was creamy but didn't really have a taste. I guess in my mind I was expecting it to have a little more of a homemade taste and feel. It was kind of bland. I didn't quite get the homemade, grandma made these feel with the brownie. Overall, I like Oliver's Desserts and thought their cupcakes were good.

First, it's…read morelocated in a really lovely part of Pendleton near a part of Broadway that's permanently closed for pedestrians and outdoor dining, so the ambiance is really nice. The inside of the shop is interesting, with knickknacks and things to look at in every corner- kids would love it for this reason! I immediately noticed that there were no prices on the menu... there were cups displayed on the counter with small/medium/large pricing but it wasn't clear what these cups were for- it looked like shakes. It was very off-putting for me to not know the prices of what I'm ordering, especially with more specialty items like cookie dough or coffee/ice cream creations where I can't predict a standard price. Second, there was only one dairy-free option... a cookies and cream ice cream. While it was tasty, it was my only option and that never feels great to order something because you have to. It also didn't have a description or any info available so I was left wondering what made it nondairy... almond? Coconut? Oil? Of course at a creamy whip type place I'm not going to expect the entire menu to accommodate me, but it's nice when there are at least a couple other options- especially with coffee, it would be easy to have a nondairy milk available or a sorbet/dole whip since they already carry many flavors. I tried a tiny bite of my husband's edible cookie dough and it was delicious! Seemed really sweet though- he could barely finish his side by side because it was so sugary--a good problem to have :)) I think I would go back if I had friends with me or happened to be in the area for Blink or the pool or something, but otherwise I would probably choose somewhere else where I have more options s and I know what I'm going to spend.
