Lola showed me her handwritten tabulation of my purchases which looked accurate but she kept that receipt. When I signed the credit card slip, I admit that I should have examined it closely but I didn't. She duped me into thinking what I signed was what she showed me in her handwritten receipt but it wasn't. I was charged $512 on my credit card. I didn't discover this until a few days later when I reviewed my credit card charges. I contested the charge with my credit card company. Lola provided them with my signed receipt but never produced the handwritten sales slip that she kept which had the correct amount. I should mention that she was going out of business and everything was 50% off. I wonder if her dishonest business practices forced her to close her shop. It is too bad because as a crafter of jewelry she is very good but as a person, she is immoral.
