Its owner, Julieann, is the only person I will EVER let near my hair now. And at £7 for a funky style, just the way I like it, it's become absolute favourite hairdressers. They were able to fit me in, that was 7 years ago and I have never gone anywhere else since. Turns out they do a better job than any hairdresser I had ever been to before. They always seem to do my hair exactly the way I like it, and the colours are always exactly what I'm looking for. It is sleek and modern inside with a dark colour scheme that makes customers feel comfortable. The sister and niece both got haircuts, as it is their regular choice of hair salon the girls were Friend and knew them both by name. I was impressed with the way Charlene dealt with my niece, she felt at ease and was distracted by sweets and lollipops. To my surprise while I was in the waiting room of the salon a gent walked in and got his hair trimmed for £5. Which by modern standards is a bargain. What I got was a full fringe with orange highlights and ended up getting about four inches taken off my hair when all I asked for was a trim. Also, the lady barely spoke a word to me throughout my sitting, which made things very uncomfortable. I'm really self conscious about my hair and was very upset about this, at the time. The stylist was polite and helpful, enquiring what I wanted done and then offering her own thoughts about the style. This was as good as the experience got. It all went down hill from here. For some obscure reason there was no mirror in front of me. I asked for small plaits at various sections. Check? negative, missing. I also asked that it would be elegant and not over the top. Check? Negative. Well, what I finally saw in the mirror can only be described as a monstrosity. My hair was everywhere in all directions. I looked like I had been dragged through a bush backwards. There was a sort of Mohawk on the top of my head and masses of volume everywhere else. I could have died. I had to walk home like this! The only reason I paid was because I wanted to get out of that shop as soon as humanely possible. Well I'll tell you I went home and my friend (who's a guy!) fixed it to a standard I don't think those girls had ever even heard of. One spot I'll not be visiting again!

I was recommended this hairdressers by a friend. On my first visit my hair was handled by four…read moredifferent members of staff and after asking for blonde highlights my hair turned out baby blue and I had to go to the stylists house to have it fixed the next day. On my second visit my now platinum blonde hair was dyed an inch away from the root and I fixed it myself with hair lightening bleach. On my third and final visit after my hair had broken off all around my hairline, the stylist blamed everything but her work for the damage. When she finished I actually said ' I hate it' while still sitting in the chair in earshot of all the other clients in the salon. When she tried to start to fix it the lady boss told her no and if she did anymore to it I would be charged more. The salon is filthy and on all occasions I have had to clean my shoes when I got home. I have a bald spot on one side of my head and have lost more than 4 inches of my hair in an effort to salvage what's left of it. I have since sourced another salon with whom I have booked an appointment to fix my in their words 'severly overprocessed hair' after lockdown. This has been my worst hair experience ever but at least it can't look any worse! I urge anyone to think very carefully before you book here!

She promised to train me i was 16, shortly after 3 weeks later she took on an aul doll in her 40's called noleen and started actively dedicatedly training her and promptly pushed me aside after having lied, patronized and dissed me then fired me without any humanity she fired in march 1990, i was devastated and badly affected as i could'nt trust after that betrayal being so young. That firing affected me badly as i was suffering abuse at home and i needed that training and job you did'nt give what you promised, you kept me dangling, you berated me with gusto and abject cruelty for disgusting cheap laffs as i was a young trans person at that time who was Out and terrified just trying to hang on in get by And survive!!. All you ever went on about was how allegedly fab frazer homes where, and how stunningly marvellous your big farmer compton was and how the 5 point haircut changed your bourgous life, and that protelene and farandol were your best products along with your thermo styling perms!! I decided to go for something slightly different, and they were really helpful and informative in helping me choose what suited me, I absolutely loved the results!
