I tried the pork Chile Verde and the sunny burrito which had chorizo as well as a little bit of the breakfast sandwich. The pork Chile Verde was very good. I liked how tender the meat was as well as the flavor. The burrito's chorizo was a bit too salty but was still tasty. The breakfast sandwich had a bit too much breading for my taste and was probably my least favorite of the 3. The regular hot coffee was nice and fresh with a little self service station, and their specialty drinks like the honey lavender latte was very good as well. Pretty popular place, they get a lot of traffic here. There's parking on the side of the building. Luckily, we were able to grab a couple of counter seats as we wait for our order. The menu has such a variety of different options and they're all delicious. I've never gotten something here I didn't like. The service is very kind friendly and quick! The outdoor seating is so cute and there a couple tables inside as well. The pastries are unbeatable and I've tried so many and they're all 100/10. I specifically recommend the turkey club, egg sandwich, burrito and pancakes! Now for pastries I love the pineapple cake, ginger cake, kitchen sink cookie, cheesecake (basically all of them you can't go wrong lol). The lemonade is also noteworthy and so good! The milk bread on the club sandwich was so light and fluffy, the quiche was not heavy and very flavorful and the ham and Gruyère croissant was amazing. The location is centrally located and the inside is small but it works! It's very neat and organized and the music makes this place lively. Decided to try this place on a recommendation. It's a cute coffee/cafe right off a main road. The inside is rather small and narrow but they have a larger outdoor patio for seating as well. I would categorize this place as fine. Nothing really stood out to me, but it's a cute neighborhood spot for sure. The staff weren't overly welcoming and seemed busy with their own tasks, but were efficient. We tried the breakfast sandwich and cast iron eggs. The sandwich was subpar. The roll it was one was the most flavorful thing about it. I wish I asked for some type of cream cheese or spread, that way it could have added more flavor. I found it interesting that they didn't toast the roll but I don't think it would have changed much if they did. The better of the two was the cast iron eggs. I don't even know how to describe it, maybe like an egg soup? That doesn't sound appetizing, but it was good. Creamy and filled with goodies (beech mushroom, blistered tomatoes, cheese, basil). Definitely needed salt but I was very invested in this dish. I think you can do a lot with that. Maybe a basil oil drizzle or dollop of pesto? Anyway, I like that one. I think it's a good neighborhood place, I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to go again, but if I am in the area I wouldn't be opposed to stopping in. Simply on of the BEST breakfasts you can treat yourself to!! She had the Green Chili pork which had hatch green chili, fried eggs and a fresh made tortilla, we shared and that dish was also fantastic!! For dessert we shared a giant decadent piece of German Chocolate cake and shared family stories on why it is one of our favorites. For drinks we celebrated with Coffee Mezcal Old Fashions. My daughter had just given birth and we stopped to pick up breakfast for her and my son in law. The place was hopping - line out the door, but the staff was so pleasant and efficient. The restaurant is cute and bright with ample indoor and outdoor seating. All the food looked delicious with ample portions. There is limited seating inside with a patio outside, so be prepared if it's a high traffic kind of morning. It's worth the cramped line though! Their pastries are stunning and their breakfast is delish. I also love how you can just order a coffee or cold brew then add whatever milk/cream/flavor you want as self-serv. I've been dying to try this place forever, so glad I finally had the chance! They have a small parking lot next door, which was convenient! Inside, you order at the counter and then bring a number to your table. They had so many delicious looking bakery items in their case- my mom ordered the carrot cake and thought it was amazing! I was a bit hungrier, so ordered the cast iron baked egg, which was DELICIOUS! They also had a variety of speciality coffee drinks to choose from. The outdoor area is cute and inviting- a little oasis in the middle of a bunch of businesses. They weren't busy, but their service is quite slow. It took about 25 minutes to get our two coffees, the carrot cake from the pastry case, and the cast iron egg. I'm assuming they waited until the egg was ready to serve everything, but I wish they would have given us our coffee to sip on while we waited. I've been here a few times. It always seems to be busy but love that you can grab a tag, sit down, and order and pay at the table. I've had the cold brew and banana bread latte (ordered it half sweet), both were super good. I like the eggs with prosciutto and mushrooms. It's very different than anything I've ever had. I keep wanting to get the bagel and lox and the ricotta pancake but have went back for the same thing both times. As well, I've had a couple of desserts. They were hit or miss for me. I had the lemon bar. The crust was amazing but the lemon (personal preference) I prefer more tart over being really sweet. The cheesecake was fairly good. The bagel the day I had it was very, very chewy and almost hard to eat (but still had great flavor). It's slightly loud which I don't mind. I worked here both times with no issues. We are visiting from out of town and chose OV due to the raving reviews. I did notice that there was another review regarding a limited menu. When we got there, about 2/3's of the hot breakfast items on the all day was taped over with limited menu options. We ordered a biscuit and gravy, a choc pastry, a ham and cheese croissant, a baked egg, and specialty coffee (I don't think they had regular coffee), and I ordered a herbal tea. The young lady at the counter was wonderful and apologetic about the limited options - and such a sweetheart. We were also set up by another person who was very kind and got us our utensils and water/glasses while we waited for the items to be served. Although I didn't eat anything the other 5 guests at our table, liked what they ordered. But I think it would have been prudent for the restaurant to banner their website to let patrons know how limited the menu is, until further notice. It was a disappointment. The kitchen is open so you can see what is going on. I had a kombucha and my lunch mate had a dirty chai. Both were delicious.
