They were not busy, only three cars in the parking lot. But they wouldn't refill my tank, said they quit filling at 7:00 pm. Usually spend a couple hundred dollars a month at this location, between pet food and propane. Will no longer be spending any money at this location.

I only had a few minutes so I really just checked out house hold goods. There were a few really nice pieces that looked to be very gently used. As you would expect there's more heavily worn furniture but it fills a need. There was quite a bit of vintage pieces that had great potential for refinishing. I loved the double solid wood and glass doors for only $25 each. Now that's an amazing deal and they would look amazing refinished. There was a bin full of really nice lamp shades that looked brand new and shelf after shelf of glass ware, dishes, small appliances and just about any thing else you could think of...wheelchair, books, toys, tons of baskets, golf clubs, etc. I recommend planning to spend some time to dig through the shelves. I suspect there are many secret treasures to be found there. And...if you drive through to drop off donations, really nice folks come out and unload your truck for you.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. This shop seems to have limited hours so I've been following them on Facebook to see when they are open. Today was the day I've been waiting for and oh my, it was well worth the wait. Cute, creative, amazing variety of products well displayed. There are several small rooms packed with merchandise you don't typically see in your regular retail shops. I revisited several of the rooms and each time discovered something new. I gained permission to take pictures so everyone could get a better idea about what is available here. Today they had fresh roasted peanuts that I'm sure was a big hit. Also, customers bringing in at least 2 cans of food today to be donated to the local food pantry received a 20% discount on purchases. So, not only does this business offer a great shopping experience they care about their local community as well. I'm looking forward to returning and taking friends there to shop.

What a great value! Best of all the proceeds benefit Hospice. I'm excited to be able to support such a worthy organization as opposed to someone who lives in a multi million dollar mansion. The lady working there was extremely helpful. I learned that they will also come to your home to pick up furniture donations. The front of the building had various vendors set up selling items as part of the 100 mile yard sale. We knew Preston's did a lot with wood but did not know much about the antique part of their business. After visiting we know they primarily work with wood pieces and the antique part is small. They do have some very nice live edge slabs, cookies and make some really nice furniture with them. They even had an adjustable work desk built out of a live edge slab. They do some work with epoxy resin as well. Their prices seemed reasonable and we were able to talk to both Preston and his partner who were very friendly and helpful. Great spot if you are looking for live edge type furniture. We are confident they can also do custom pieces as well.
