Ollie's is a fun place to shop! You can't have more than one cart in any given aisle because the aisles are tightly packed. This place is jammed to the hilt with merchandise galore. They have a large selection of Christmas decor, ornaments, Yard blow up decorations, garland, and Christmas ornaments. The store itself seems a little junky but there are some great finds. Last year I got two beautiful walking sticks for 6.99, I've seen similar ones elsewhere for over 40$. The book section is not to be missed. They have almost every category you can imagine! You owe it to yourself to have a look see! Food, cake mixes,condiments, coffee, rugs, cookware, fishing poles, things for your car, greeting cards, artwork, bedding, DVD's, and more more more! I recently started shopping here after a long break, and and although some of the aisles are narrow the prices are very good. However the best part was the customer service. I had to take an air fryer back, and I had misplaced my new discount card. Joe the manager was extremely professional, courteous and returned the fryer, gave me a new card and transferred the points I earned to the new card! Thank you, Joe! read more

I was shopping and looking for small trash bags. I ask one of the male employees and before I can get what I was asking for the man says no we don't have it. He thought I was asking for wast paper baskets so instead of waiting for me to ask he rudely says no we don't have it. Just saying not very professional. read more

I love this store. There is always a bargain to be had. I go to Ollie's especially when I'm looking for something special that I'm not finding anywhere else. And so far I've never been disappointed. BUT, what keeps me coming back is the customer service. It is truly second to none . Everyone one is helpful ALL the time. Never an attitude or someone leaving me with the feeling that I'm bothering them when I ask a question. Jackie (her name has a unique spelling); but anywho, when it comes to customer service, or customer care as I like to call it, she is 5 (*****) star. She will, like the others , stop what she's doing to help you. But what motivated me to write this is she took the time to explain the product and if I wasn't sure she would walk me to another product . Then I asked her for carryout plates. She said no I don"t think we carry the. Anymore. I said ok and she walked away. Five minutes later she found me in another isles and she had the plates. I was estatic because I really needed those plates. I told everybody I could about the customer care I received at Ollie's. So expect an influx of people. Today was the first time my family and I visited Ollies and it will be our last. Looking in from the outside, I was excited to check out their collection of books. That section so happen to be on the opposite side of the store from where you enter. As soon you enter, you can tell Ollies is a store that sell a great variety of merchandise which is pretty neat. My wife and her sister stopped to look at the area rugs they had out near the back as I aimlessly circling them holding my 2 year old. This being my first time in the store, I accidentally walked into their warehouse back area because I missed the sign that read "Employees Only." A young gentlemen asked if I needed help. I looked up and apologized because I realized this was not part of the store. As soon as I'm in the retail section again, an older female employee asked in an unpleasant tone, "Can I help you" as she made her way towards the employee section. My wife answered, "We're just browsing." The lady then rolled her eyes and shook her head as she passed us. She must not like her job, but we know when we're not wanted, so that was our cue to leave. Sadly, I did not make it towards the book section and can not comment on how the store is, prices, or their actual merchandise. I'm not sure how big a name Ollies is, but they definitely need to educate on "service with a smile" to compete with these big box companies or any company for that matter. read more
