Very un-helpful and un-friendly. I went to drop off a package there because they are a UPS drop off and the kid behind the counter tells me to put it with the rest then some old man that also works there approached me practically yelling at me not to be at the very spot I was just, seconds ago, told to be. It would be very nice if everyone was on the same page. And instead of coming all unglued on me he should have told the kid that, but maybe the kid was the bosses son so he had to vent on me. I've spent hundreds of dollars there and they treat me like a piece of cr@p. Over what? He heard what the kid said, he was 2 feet from him, FFS. These folks got some serious issues. I asked for help looking for things there and they can't seem to find anything. I always end up finding what I need, IF they have it. And when they do have what I need, it's ALWAYS twice what Amazon wants for the exact same item. This place is for emergencies and need now basis ONLY! Trust me, these people are either darn fools or just plain lazy. I'd rather drive the extra 10 minutes and go to Isham's Hardware instead. Take my advice, you'll be glad you did! read more

After getting home and installing, I determined that one item was exactly what I needed. As I headed out to make an exchange, I noticed on the receipt that the items were $17.99. No big deal. They can credit back the amount. This type of thing happens all the time. They would not take my return because water had flowed thru it. Fine. I get that. But they would not correct the incorrect scan amount. The cashier was just in the middle and had to deal with my anger. Management are criminals.

I had no idea until I made the returns that Hobby Lobby doesn't put an item number on their receipts. My fiance, a clerk, a store manager, and myself had to search my huge pile of receipts trying to find which item went with what receipt. It was very stressful with people lined up behind us. What an archaic process. Over the last two years I have turned in four rain checks and Hobby Lobby always says they will call when the item will come in. Guess what, they never call me. I always wait past the date (they say it would arrive when I turned in my rain check) to call them and inquire about the status. They say, "Yes, we received it." I'm thinking, "Why didn't you call like you said you would?" One of the rain checks I turned in was misplaced but I was later told it was in the back order pile. How is that misplaced and why wouldn't you check the back order pile when I inquire? Then another rain check I submitted was a large, large order and when I called the day they said it would arrive, I was told all the items were in. So I drove to the store and when I got there, they said they couldn't find some of the items. I said, "How do you loose things in less than an hour?" A little over an hour after leaving the store, they call me and tell me they found the missing items. It's sad, this used to be my favorite store and I dread buying things there now. Hobby Lobby is my last resort now and not the first store I'll go to. It's definitely not my favorite store anymore. My daughter has disliked Hobby Lobby for years and I am now disliking it too. Ugh.
